About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Golf at Meadows
The course is a pretty good value. The greens were in very good condition. The fairways and rough, not as much. The pace of play on this day was excellent. I'm not sure if the smoke from the Canadian wildfires had an effect on this. Visibility was greatly restricted, but not the course's fault.

Good around overall!!!
Overall the course was in good shape!!! The only thing I that I would recommend is giving the tee boxes some TLC. The players should also learn to fix their divots to help keep the green in good shape.

You Know What You’re Buying
It’s a good course for the price and if you just want to have fun and work on your game. Be prepared to hear “fore”. The greens were in really good shape especially when compared to the fairways.

Never again
This course is a joke. First off, inside some customer was yelled at by the staff and told not to use the website to book. The customer, as we were, were so confused why we are being told not to use their official website to book. We head outside and now there are like 7 people on the tee. We walk up and find out that the 3 some set for 730/740 was pushed by a group of 3 people who didnt say when their tee time was. They didnt check with the people inside. It seemed as if they just came from the parking lot and played. Instead of going back inside and getting yelled at we just sat there and let this group of 3 jump the group that was supposed to be ahead of us. This place is such a comedy show, its embarrassing. On top of all the antics the prices are HIGH. They charge a $2.50 golfer convenience fee per golfer whether you cancel or not. Talk about junk fees! I wont return until these prices come back down to $30 walking. I would rather go play bergen county courses for $31 walking during the week.

Was Cautious Before Playing
Most of the reviews I read after booking the round, were negative. I even thought of canceling my round after reading them. But I am glad I gave it a chance. Although the course played short (played off the 'whites'), the pin placements on the greens made the course a lot more challenging. I liked how the course had true doglegs and also water along side some of the holes, which made you had to hit your tee shot in one direction. Was a nice good challenging course. Will try to play it again later in the season. Staff was wonderful.

Exceptional
Played Meadows for the first time in 2 years and I am pleasantly surprised by how much this course has improved. The starter was extremely accommodating and the course was in fantastic shape. Great value for money and really fun track for all skill levels. I will be back!

Overpriced
Course is overpriced for what it is. $60 walking $70 cart on a weekday is a lot for a course in this condition. You can get courses for $45-55 walking in much better condition but I played here since it was most convenient for me this day. The course has never really been a well maintained course but it’s definitely improved from years past. It could use some more TLC but I think a mix of the location with the floods and the high amount of play makes it hard to achieve. My biggest issue with the course would be the price, it’s more of a $35-40 walk course on a weekday at least. I don’t think I would return unless I really had to play and other courses in the area were booked up. They also have a putting green and chipping area which is nice, but no range if you were expecting that.

Course could use a ranger out there to keep things moving. The foursome 2 ahead of us killed our round
