About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Sand traps are rock- Literally
The traps have not been turned over the entire year. Hard as a rock with tons of rocks in them. There where balls everywhere on this course, we had two balls on our green and others in sand trap at the green. sloppy course, good for a last minute because I’m sure you could just about always jump on.

Wide open course- Balls everywhere
Course played ok. Sand traps are full of rocks and hard as can be, clearly never turned over by grounds crew. Fairways line up on top of each other so almost every hole you would find balls. We had two extra balls on our green and another in sand trap. For $50 it works, just not very challenging.

Solid Track
Course is in good condition, but the tee boxes and some fairways could use a little help. Overall a good course for a relaxing round. Pace was good, staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, and the course is a good test for the average golfer.

The fairways and teeboxes are so poorly maintained that the course is unplayable. Don't bother counting toward your handicap. If this is your only option then just go hit balls at the range.

Fairway needs to be watered and maintained
The course setting and greens are playable. However, the fairway and tee box needs much attention. I hope the management puts more attention on the teebox and fairway.

Short track
Great practice course- awesome for the price. Always can get on. Few of the longer holes are as long as they say - all par 5 reachable in two for above average golfer. Greens are a bit slow but consistent.

Much Better
Played here regularly some 15 years ago. Today the greens are in very good shape as well as most of the fairways. You can see new ownership has turned this place around. Worth the trip to play.
