About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Great value
Course very soft with patchy fairways, I believe lift clean and place should be worthy of fairways and light rough especially after rain. Not too shabby for a quick round of 18 with a cart

Barely a fair course
Conditions were bad, T boxes not marked, several holes were under construction, they should not have allowed play that day.

It’s early season but yikes
Course is being re-done. Holes are on top of each other and little to no guidance on where the tee boxes are. Greens were horrible even for this time of year Meadows is what it is. Short, slow and budget golf at its finest. Look elsewhere until it’s improved

Bad course condition
Friendly staffs but course condition was so bad. They should not be open the course.

Muddy
Can't expect great conditions this time of year, but very muddy even in fairways. Straight forward layout. Not many trees to guard against errant shots and people don't yell fore anymore it seems. Biggest knock is pace of play. Groups just went off without a starter, had 4 groups on a par 4. No bueno.
It’s the dead of winter and yes we have a starter on duty as well as multiple staff members. I am sorry the started was not in your eyesight that morning. When the frost and ice thaws from the winter yes the ground tends to be wet and muddy in some cases.

Very disappointed!!
Here is a course that we know to be open all winter. And I appreciate that. However, the condition of this “golf course “ is less than crappy. Almost un-playable Absolutely NO fairway to hit from. Traps were abandoned. Looks like they haven’t been maintained in years. With all that been said, we still would play here during winter. Just to get out and play. For $20. Not so fast. $40 is what they charge. And he told me that next month price is going up. No money is going into the course. Cross this off the list. Go to the range instead

Quick course
Great pace of play. The course was in winter conditions and the restaurant was closed. Other than that, got a great round in.

Warm weather & ground thaw day
Course was. In great condition for Feb, warm day & ground thawing. Get rate of play even as then cart paths got a little muddy. Always a fun course to play.

Good place to warm up
Lots of tricky little holes. The layout might differ a little from GPS watches. But overall the play is great here. Really happy to have played here.

Great for Feb golf
Surprisingly playable with snow squall and windchill in the teens.

Who the heck posts a review in the winter! Grass is dormant everything is frozen. Hit out of a bunker and you can break a hand and your that miserable to post a review! You must have shot 120!!!
Really a rating in the winter! Grass does not grow! Bunkers are frozen! Fairways hard as ice! Get a clue seriously! Stay home next time please!
