About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

might as well carry a mat around because there isn’t a decent lie on the course. much work needed. thumbs down
Frost delay not handled great
Frost delay for 2 hours this morning. Not the courses fault of course but then they put people out basically on every whole and it backed up quickly. Started on 8 and by the time we got around to 1 we would have had to wait behind 4 groups on the tee box. Told us we could get a rain check for 9 but we're rude about it and told us next time it's on us if we decide to still go out after a delay.

The course isn't in great shape. Everyone local knows that rain impacts this course, but by the end of this season, too many parts of fairways were in disrepair. Cart paths are a mess. GIR all over the place. Realistically, after Trop Storm Ida came through, they should have just closed the course for the season and prepped for next year.

All day event
Currently on the course. It is so slow I figured I would kill time by doing this. This will be my last time coming here. I have never played a round in under five hours here. It is ridiculous there are no Rangers and it is pretty much a free for all. Horrible experience. I would rather not play than play here.

Course in very rough shape
10/21/21 - played 18 holes. General condition of the course was rough. My understanding earlier in the year was that the course was flooded so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. Played it a couple years ago and was in better shape. Hole 3 had a lot of sand in the middle of the fairway - was like a beach and this was not fairway bunkers. Holes 6 & 7 were similar with reconstruction of the tee box on 7 but a lot of unfinished areas and sand.Few holes on the back 9 had pock marks in the fairway (like giant sized aeration) and 18 fairway had a large area of peat moss & grass seed mix (but needed water and honestly should not have traffic). Everything cart path only. Maybe better to limit play to 9 holes and reconstruct the other 9?? The cost is low but the quality wasn't there this time. Maybe back in a few years ...

Course is in very poor condition
I’m sure a lot has to do with weather but other courses are not that bad
Also after 18 hole you love to have lunch and a beer
And restaurant is always closed when we are done by 11:30 am
Price of golf is great. But have to start looking for nicer courses

Great, friendly staff...truly one of the best around.
The course was in solid condition, esp due to the hammering it took from IDA. Some holes were still under construction, however, it didn't take away from the enjoyable time there.
The staff put a lot of effort and time into making this course playable again, they care and want the best for the players...and it shows.
Great course to play for the $ and not difficult.

Maybe if they put grass in the fairway and have someone not so bitter and miserable in the clubhouse it’ll be nice to play here, but till then, pass.

Been here 15 times in the past 10 years and it gets worse every year. “Remodeling” didn’t help much when there is 5 feet of water every year. Not the courses fault really, but it’s almost unplayable.
