About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

I understand they're trying to improve the course but they charge full price for a poorly conditioned course. they allowed a foursome in front of us to play with 2 sets of clubs. So these knuckleheads were sharing clubs on the tee,the fairway and of course sharing a putter on the green when they eventually got on.5 hours for 18 holes because of sheer silliness

Miserable staff, course in bad shape
Our round started horribly after the two tee times after us were giving carts before us, after paying for carts we were left having to walk while the group behind us were given carts. Our round finished as the sun set. While coming in we were cursed out by a staff member Jay due to coming late, however we were never told to wrap it up or given a time restriction. It was extremely unprofessional for paying customers to get cursed out at the facility.. reading these reviews it doesn’t seem like it’s the first time costumers have been mistreated. Safe to say we won’t be back.

**Important Review of Meadows Golf Club**
Long overdue review, I’ve played this course 5-6 times in my 2 years golfing, and the last few times I’ve played I’ve vowed to never come back. Actual craters on the greens, your chances of getting brain damage from a golf ball increase exponentially on this course. Owners are nice, but how nice can they be when they put $0 back into their business and charge $55 for a Saturday morning tee time. It’s an absolute dog track and I advise everyone and anyone to spend their money on a few range buckets or some mini putt rather than play a 6 hour round at this desecrated plot of land known as “Meadows Golf Club”

Best bang for your buck
I play the course 2-3 times a year when I’m in town. If I lived in the area it would probably be my home course. Staff Is great, greens are true, and they seem to out more money in to it every year.

Course was extremely slow and in poor condition. 3 hours to play 9 holes and decided not to finish. 8th tee box was on the fringe of the 7th green. Would not recommend

Over 5 hour round. Was cart path only for 0 reason. Would only ever play if desperately needed a tee time and no where else was available

Rough.
Place got severely damaged by flooding. They need to install drainage cause it will take months to get in half decent shape now. I understand with the season starting and good weather there's a need to make some profits but they should be discounting tee times with the current course conditions. I booked a tee time through golf now and was charged $6 more than shown on the app. Didn't make a big deal of it, the guy at the counter warned "its very wet" but that was an understatement. The holes are numbered weirdly now and one of the holes was almost completely lost to flooding besides the green. They just made up a tee box in some mud in what usually is the rough of another hole. Greens were ok. I understand it's the beginning of the season so expectations weren't crazy high, but sheesh place was in ROUGH shape. So just know that if you plan on playing from now til late May atleast.

Hit or miss - IYKYK
If you are familiar with this course it historically floods when it rains, as it is in a flood zone. I have played here a few times and when it is dry it is a decent course, but when it rains there is a possibility of flooding on the course. It rained the previous few nights before our tee time, so we had a feeling it might be flooded but we went anyway. When we arrived at the course only 12/18 holes were available to play, as the other were either flooded completely or inaccessible due to the water. The staff did give us a discounted rate of $35 instead of $51, walking only, and said if we wanted we can play the first six holes again if we wanted to get a full 18 in. The staff is friendly and I feel genuinely bad since there is not much they can do about the flooding. It is not a bad course, just unfortunately located in a flood zone. Just watch the weather before you book.

It was open and in decent condition considering the rainfall
This is a value course and it does exactly what it says. Pace of play was brutal but that had a lot to do with conditions. As a place to get out and have a swing it was perfect. Greens ok. Fairways ok. Fact it was open was a miracle

The conditions are nowhere near playable for the price and the area—spray painted drop zones, sod that hasn’t fully settled and a feeling like you’re walking through soup. Probably best to shut it down for a year to bring it up to speed.
Also, for the owner in the clubhouse, I don’t need to hear your right wing talking points when I’m just trying to check in
