About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

This course is always a good place for people of all skill levels. It can be easy at times and other times very challenging. But one thing that never changes is the pace of play. There are no rangers making sure people are keeping pace. I played with one other person and the group ahead of us was so bad it took 5.5 hours to complete the round. They were driving all over the course. Running in front of others on different holes. An embarrassment to the game itself. Rangers are needed to keep the game moving. Patience is running thin as this isn’t the first time

Conditions
Much work being done to the course. Great layout but very distracting with all the work being done all over the course don’t know what project will be done first. Love playing this course Please finish one hole project at a time.

Short but fun course
not the best - not the worst. Greens could use some work but overall enjoyable experience. Not my first choice, but will absolutely play again.

Aerated greens and rough teeboxes
A great day for golf and the pace of play was excellent considering it looked like the tee sheet was full. On the course, conditions were decent in the fairways but the teeboxes continue to be in bad shape and the aerated greens made putting troublesome. A few putts during our round were going straight, hit an aeration hole and took a hard jump offline. My one big hangup with Meadows is there are very few yardage markers on the course itself. You can sometimes find the 100, 150 and 200 colored blocks in the fairway but I couldn't find them on several holes. Having a few yardages marked on sprinkler heads would really help. If you have a range finder or watch or other distance gadgets, you'll be fine.
