About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

First time here
Apparently, they switched the front nine holes around and it screwed up my SkyLink data. Other than that, you really need to have played here before. The yardage markers are all wrong on the tee boxes and it’s tough to know where to aim. There’s a lot of water on the front nine, but not much on the back. Beverage cart was helpful because there’s no drinking water on the course. The ball washers were also empty!

Greens and fairways were in great condition. Said there would be a little delay but got out on time and was able to finish in 4 hrs. If you’ve played there in the past it’s not the same! Kudos to the staff!

I TRIED IT AGAIN AFTER SO MANY YEARS
We were not able to make reservations on the Morris County courses, so we were happy to play here especially since I heard it is greatly improved. It is better; however, the course has no yardage markers and it is difficult to find the next hole in some cases. The really good news is that it is very affordable for a senior.

Staff matters
The staffs never kind, sometime rude enough and no respect for golfers who plays there often. They need to be improved staffs attitude

Worth the money
My reviews are always tied to the price... for a $50 round the pace of play was good (8am tee time on a Friday). I wish the course had more distance markers. Some holes had then others didn’t. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Greens were in decent condition as were the tee boxes. In terms of difficulty, there was water you had to carry throughout the front 9 and the back nine was protected by new sand in the traps. Pick your club wisely, but overall the course played pretty direct. Again, for the price I would play here again.

Slow play day
This course is in horrible shape. Tee boxes are beat up and all the fairways are no better. The greens were well maintained but that about it. I’m not going back anytime soon.
