Mays Landing Golf Club
About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

Mr Charles Shannon
THIS COURSE IS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. IF YOU WANT A ROUND WITH GOOD PACE AND FINE FOOD UPON COMPLETION, YOU CAN HARDLY FIND BETTER.
A Real Treat
1st time here & found the course a real treat. Nice layout with great conditions. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful. Did not have time to try bar/restaurant, but looked super.
A nice traditional golf course
I played this course 4 years ago and came away saying never again. It was in terrible condition and the best part of the day was the cart ride.
I saw reviews that the course was sold and the new owners were putting a lot of money back into the course. With golf now we played this past week and I am pleased to report that there are vast improvements. The tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. There was no crabgrass on the greens and the traps were well maintained. The old first hole that was a par five has been designated a short par 4 and there was some rerouting of a couple of other holes but it was worth what we paid. I saw on their website prices in the $60.00 range. It is not at that quality yet but it is worth a strong $30 range. We were paired with 2 members and went out as a foursome. We quickly caught up to a group and things came to a crawl. There were no rangers and the pace of play caused one member to leave. This was the only drawback of the day. An almost 5 hour round on an October weekday is unacceptable.
Reasonable Rate with golf now
Play was extremely slow only completd 12 holes in over 3 hours of play.wait time over 5mins. Between each shot. No rangers
Another Great Golf Day
We had a fun day playing this course again! As always, it presents some challenges and a goal of hitting straight drives on each hole! We will be back soon!!!

Course was in great shape, perfect day for golf, enjoyed the round
Not bad at all
I have played this course many times, and it's always enjoyable. Never packed to the brim with players and challenging enough, especially on the greens. will definitely play again.
Mays landing
Excellent soft greens and fairways But I liked the other course layout better They reversed the front 9 and back 9 and changed some of the holes
Great value
Have always enjoyed Mays Landing And it seems under new ownership the course has become more consistent. Greens ran really well. Have always the layout. And the folks make you feel welcome.
Beautiful fairways
Fairways were lush and green. T boxes were in great shape and well marked. Even though there had been rain the greens were fast. Just a real interesting course in great shape.
Another great round of golf!
We experienced a fun round of golf on a beautiful October Day. The course conditions were good and the pace of play was perfect. Our foursome played 18 holes in just 4 hours with one small break after hole 9. We had dinner in the restaurant where the food is excellent and the staff friendly, courteous and gracious. Everyone who works at Mays Landing goes out of their way to be helpful! We will play again soon!
Mays Landing
Course is in great shape except off the fairways it turns to pine needles and rocks. Staff is always awesome especially Ronnie the starter. excellent public moderate priced course for south jersey!!
Great Day
I used to play Mays Landing in a league many years ago. It gets an unfair bad wrap. I was pleasantly surprised how good the greens were maintained. Fairways were decent, and the rough is the usual hard pan. Staff was great, and the bar/food was awesome. For the price, it's a great value.
