You definitely need to play with someone that has played here before.
Fun round, neat course. Keep your driver in the bag. A few of the holes are very close to each other so stay on your toes! I will take a 4 hour round on a Saturday anytime.
New Home Course
Golden Pheasant is a very picturesque and well maintained course. Nice elevation changes and opportunity to use most clubs in the bag. Green are flawless but stay below the hole!

A Great Surprise...
I haven't been to this course in a long time, the last time I played it was in terrible condition and seemed like it was on the verge of going out of business. HOWEVER, what a tremendous turnaround the course has made! The entire course was in excellent condition. The fairways were great, except for a few places where water settles, the greens were a little slow but in excellent condition, and the rough was thick but not so high that you can't find your ball. The course has some long par 5's and some short par 4's that make it fund and a few blind shots. The pace of play was very good, finished on a Monday in under 4 hours. Staff was very friendly. The best part was that they actually had water on the course. A very smart person solved the "No Water Buckets Covid Rule" by having coolers of FREE bottled water on a few holes. Brilliant!! It was 95 degrees and much appreciated. I haven't played there in years but will definitely be going back on a regular basis now!

The course was extremely over booked with no real starter. Hole 1 we waited about 25 minutes to tee off as a group was on the green and one on the fairway… this continued for the entire front 9 as it took over 2.5 hours to complete…as we made the turn there was a league going off on 10 so we decided to leave after 9… total waste of money. As we were leaving there were at least 5 groups waiting to start their round… course was in good shape but pace of play so bad we will never come back.

Golden Pheasant
Great time, very nice course. Some really beautiful holes. Staff were super nice. Food was excellent! One of the best hamburgers I had!

Well kept from tee to green
Course layout is very easy to navigate and overall well kept. I think the green fee is a little high for afternoon tee time, to be honest (maybe increased due to Covid?). Got paired with a father/son couple and these two were very friendly. The guys in front were super slow throughout the round. Credit to the marshall that recognizes the slow pace and reminded them to pick up the pace.
