Rainy day at Pennsauken
We played in the rain on a hot deal. The course was in excellent condition, certainly the best of the public courses around here. I can’t wait to go back on a nice day. The greens were challenging but fair and a good speed on a rainy day.
Typical NJ Course
Traffic buzzes past multiple tee boxes and greens on this NJ course's multiple back and forth Par 4s with parallel fairways. Wear a helmet. Wayward shots are constantly clearing the trees and raining down on players playing the other direction.
That said, the greens are pure and the rough is as thick as sheep's wool. Several water features make it a pleasant enough place.
Pace of play is difficult to manage on a busy public course, but the tough rough and hackers constantly playing from the wrong fairway make for lots of thumb twiddling on a busy day.
Club house is a classic1982 NJ split-level with wall-to-wall carpeting throughout-- a veritable CaddyShack. Nananannaa...
Great condition!
This is a beautiful course in top condition! Easily the best I've played this year. Construction going on is a minor inconvenience.

This course has a great layout
We spent a Saturday afternoon late tee time (3:50) for the first time at the course. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and roughs were in great shape and clearly well maintained. The greens were actually in great shape as well but with pin placement on most holes on a quick downslope it made putting challenging. I was very happy with the way this municipal public course was taken care of. Hats off to Kevin and the crew.
In Very Good Condition
Course was in excellent shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in immaculate condition. Nice new golf carts with touchscreen monitors and green reading. Pin placement was extremely difficult for an already difficult putting green but made it fun.
My new favorite
Conditions are amazing for a public course especially considering the amount of traffic they get.
Great Conditions, Fair Price
The course was in great condition, except one tee box that was under repair and one other fair with some work being down but I expect those those to be fixed by peak season. Will definitely be back.
