I just left the other review about how the staff was extremely ignorant and unfriendly, not knowing that there would be SEVERAL other reviews stating the same thing.

You know something is a problem when the overarching theme of these reviews is how unfriendly and ignorant the staff is. It’s a shame too because the course is always fun to play and in great shape. Just wish they would get new staff.....

I’ve been playing Pennsauken for years, and it’s always in pretty good condition. However, one pattern I have noticed is that the staff is extremely ignorant and unwelcoming. Today it was more apparent as I walked in the pro shop to check in, and the guy there did not say hello, how are you, nothing. Just gave me the receipt and looked at me. Went out to give the receipt to the cart guy for a cart, and he just looked at me as if I had four heads. Then he just pointed to the guy standing next to him as in “give it to him, I’m not dealing with it.”

And today isn’t the exception to the rule. Like I said, I’ve been playing here for years and I’ve always gotten that ignorant, rude vibe. Even on the phone when you call to make tee times, same thing. Short one word answers, not friendly.

If you can get past the ignorant people working there, the course is in great shape and it’s a fun track.

Accidentally booked a tee time for today 11/2/2020 for 1:50pm (intended to book one for tomorrow at 11/3/2020). At 1:30pm today, I realized I booked the wrong day and called to see if I could move the tee time. The guy I spoke to at the pro shop would not move it and said that they had a new policy and they were sticking to it even though it was a mistake and I clearly was not going to play (although the same tee-time the following day was available).

Had to eat $88 and booked the original intended tee time. Although playing the course regardless (since I had commitments with a friend), very disappointed with my service and unlikely to book again or recommend course to a friend.

Was disappointed that it rained steadily and for a long time that I had to cancel my reservation. I had looked forward to playing a course that I had not played in quite awhile. The biggest downsize is the way management responded to questions regarding playing in the rain and what appears to me to be a disregard for player safety and course conditions. Management ( Qinti Griffin III ) would only say that the course was open and could not close course unless the rain totals were reached certain limits. How absurd . It had been raining for 4 hours already at least and forecasts were for continuous rain the rest of the day. Due to the above I and hesitant to book another tee time at Pennsauken.

The greens were aerated but I knew that going in. The course was great but a sixsome formed on the back 9 and we had to wait every hole. Tried repeatedly to call the clubhouse but no one answered. If I run into a sixsome here on a weekend again, it will be my last time coming.

Played front 9 end of day Sunday - booked 4pm. Arrived 3:20pm to check in, get ready, putt around etc. Met with rude employee in pro shop. Kept emphasizing the need to tee off at exactly "4pm on the dot" - pulled up to first tee box at 3:52 to stretch, warm up etc. He sent ranger over to emphasize again to "not to off for 8 more minutes." Every tee time between 3:20pm & 4pm was open and available and was exactly the same price in GolfNow app. Waited until 4pm to tee off only to have multiple groups directly behind us. -- Aside from this the course seemed nice and well maintained. Not sure if I would play again due to staff friendliness.

The course is always in great condition, played it at least 15 times this season and it's always in great shape. Staff is friendly and the layout is challenging without being impossible. Rough is also in great shape but will penalize you if you are not focused.

My third time playing and today was special case. They ran the course by just back 9 holes only for maintenance. I have to say they try to maintain in the best condition! With the amount of people and outing they maintenance is on fleek! But the pace is always slow! First two times never got to finish the 18 hole but today i barely finished the back 9 holes x 2.

Great course, some what easy but green will be very challenging!
