The Pomona Golf Course is a nine-hole, public course nestled in the wilderness of Southern New Jersey. The flat, wide course is geared more towards beginners so experienced golfers might not get much besides light practice on this course.
Pomona Golf Course is also located minutes away from casinos and entertainment. The course plays to a par of 32 with 2,426 yards at the longest tees. Detailed directions are needed since the golf course is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with the area since there are no signs of how to get there along the roads. Credit cards aren't accepted either, cash only.

Great beginners course
Fairways are a bit tight but give you a good feel for harder courses. You catch up to people who don’t have carts because the holes are very close together. But overall a great course for beginners. Only 9 holes but you play them twice to get all 18. Definitely coming back to play again!
Great for beginners
So I’m a beginner and this place is great. My boyfriend is much more advanced so this place doesn’t work for him as much. Greens could use some work. Fairways aren’t bad. They are redoing tee boxes today but were really friendly about it. The only bad thing is if there are slow people in front. It feels like it takes forever. But again for beginners this place is a good starting point.
Not Bad
For less then $20 for 18 holes (9 hole twice) with cart you can’t really go wrong here. More then worth the money but don’t set your expectation benchmark high.

Fun holes for a great price
A fun 9 holes, the green quality is something to be desired but the staff is super friendly!!!
Great 9 hole
Played 18 holes on Sunday. Play at your own pace, not rushed. Good practice course. Barb was super nice and lunch was really good.
Pomona
It has been over 10 years since I last played there. Nice little course that is an excellent value. Fairly tight fairways and very small, but well kept, greens.

good course to work on your short game or for beginners.

greens were ok... need some management
Fairways were a little rough.
Good drainage as played right after it rained.
Over not a bad beginner course.

Inexpensive but still good
Played after we got hit with huge storm, groundskeepers were working hard to clear it all up quickly. Short executive course, but you still need to hit em straight
Nice course but tee times too close. Constantly on top of ppl in front and pushed from behind. I would recommend to friend. Good deal and good food
Great Value
This course is a great value for the money the greens are small which makes it challenging for your short game. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly!!
Great fun with my Grandson
This is a great course for beginners and to have fun with your family. The owner and employees are very friendly and helpful. We had a lot of fun and will return again. The price fits the course thanks for a great day with my Grandson!
Great beginner course
Played with a friend who never really played golf before it was great for him. I wouldn’t really say this is a regular golf course a lot of par 3s and par 4s. Staff seemed very nice. Fun quick 9 hole course great for the price.
