The Pomona Golf Course is a nine-hole, public course nestled in the wilderness of Southern New Jersey. The flat, wide course is geared more towards beginners so experienced golfers might not get much besides light practice on this course.
Pomona Golf Course is also located minutes away from casinos and entertainment. The course plays to a par of 32 with 2,426 yards at the longest tees. Detailed directions are needed since the golf course is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with the area since there are no signs of how to get there along the roads. Credit cards aren't accepted either, cash only.

Course had great features
It wasn't too crowded and pace was excellent. A lot of shade along the course so in hot weather it is still pleasantly cool. Fairways are wide and good for average players.

A place to hit balls
Course is not much more than a grass parking lot with tiny greens. 9 hole course that advertises for 18, play the nine twice. Played for $20 which included a cart. Lady at starter house was very nice. They had a bathroom available after 4 holes. 1 set of tees for everyone. If you’re looking to hit some balls or teach an inexperienced player the game, this place is would be okay. Played in under 2 hours.

Wonderful Fun
The staff here is so kind and generous. They are extremely accommodating considering that Golf Now overbooked the tee times a lot in the morning and put a strain on the facility. The staff was calm and patient during this time. They made it a wonderful experience for my son and I. They rotated the carts and turned the course over very quickly. The greens are in great shape and the course provides some good challenges. They do a wonderful job making it playable.
Fun day of golf
The two women running the Pomona Golf Club couldn’t have been more welcoming and kind. There was an exceptionally long wait because of the recent lifting of the Covid19 restrictions. They handled the players with grace and professionalism . Before long it was my turn to play and I had a wonderful round. I am looking forward to playing there again soon.
Ruined fathers day
Through no fault of pomona, golfnow doublebooked tee times. So the day of golf I had planned for fathers day never happened. Got there, 45 minute ride, and was told I couldnt play. Thanks for nothing

Nice beginners course
Basics layout with nicely plush crabgrass infested fairways. Temp tees up front made a short golf course even shorter with no challenging holes. Good course for a beginner only. They won’t serve you alcohol in the bar unless your a member. What a joke!!

Nice little place to play
Had a wonderful time today. This a great course for beginner level players to learn on. I was invited to join a couple (Rich & Carol ) and it could not have been a more enjoyable day.
I will most likely go back for another round while in this area.

Hidden Gem
Been playing here for a few years now. This course is a hidden gem, and this year the course is in great shape and well groomed.
This is the place to learn more about the game, how to play and how to truly appreciate the game of Golf.
Whether you are just starting or have been playing for years, you'll find this course interesting and challenging.
And as any good course will have, you'll have to enjoy a hot dog or great sandwich.
A nice nine hole.0
This is a good course to learn and play the game. Not a lout of difficult bunkers and no water hazards. Many trees do don’t slice.
Greens
The greens were in great condition no fungus they were fast and perfect
Playable course for anyone and the value is unbeatable!
The course was clean & greens are in good condition! The staff was friendly and accommodating to my needs. I will definitely be playing here again bringing some friends along!
