The Pomona Golf Course is a nine-hole, public course nestled in the wilderness of Southern New Jersey. The flat, wide course is geared more towards beginners so experienced golfers might not get much besides light practice on this course.
Pomona Golf Course is also located minutes away from casinos and entertainment. The course plays to a par of 32 with 2,426 yards at the longest tees. Detailed directions are needed since the golf course is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with the area since there are no signs of how to get there along the roads. Credit cards aren't accepted either, cash only.

Another 9 holer
Kudos to the staff for making this course better each time we play Pomona. What a difference a year makes and new ownership. Excellent improvements so keep up the good work.
This course is ideal for beginners or any level to sharpen your game
My first time playing with my son who just started playing. We had a great time and enjoyed the pace of play and course layout.

Great course for beginners or to dial in your game. Small greens, but good conditions. Clubhouse is great with awesome food

This is a great little course. Greens are in good shape. It just reopened so do work needed on fairways
New owners & GREAT rebuild
I've played this inexpensive gem many times and you can't beat the deal. The new ownership has done an outstanding job making this tired worn out farm into a beautiful , lush landscape. They've just begun taking this course and embarked on what looks like an epic journey. It's seriously not a PGA golf course, BUT, they're doing a great job transforming what was here to a lush tee box.and fairways form of one. 9 is fine here, but if you want double, go.for.it and have fun and practice for under $30!!!
Bday golf
Still early in the season and under new management.
Only gets better I'm sure.
Wait for Improvements
The golf course was in poor condition. Weeds instead of grass on the fairway. Some tee.boxes were just a square of sod. I was told that they were working on improving the golf course. I am sure it will be greatly improved.
Facility not ready for play
Most of course is a work in progress and therefore over priced and not enjoyable at all.
Fun
I love going there to get in a quick 9 holes. For the price it’s great. Love the layout. Something about it just works for me. Peaceful. Give it a try unless you only play expensive courses with lots of amenities.
Not good for singles
I have lost count how many times I have had to skip playing a round a this course because no solo options are available, only doubles or higher. This course is not friendly to solo players.
Fun round
We are in a severe drought so the fairways and tee boxes weren’t great but it was manageable. The course is a mix of par 3 and 4s. You can get the driver out on the 4s and the 3s are fun. The greens were in decent shape. It’s not a country club, it’s a simple 9 hole county course that I enjoyed a lot, on a beautiful morning. Some people don’t want that but if that’s up your alley give it a shot. I played for $13 on a hot deal online. Can’t beat that.
