The Pomona Golf Course is a nine-hole, public course nestled in the wilderness of Southern New Jersey. The flat, wide course is geared more towards beginners so experienced golfers might not get much besides light practice on this course.
Pomona Golf Course is also located minutes away from casinos and entertainment. The course plays to a par of 32 with 2,426 yards at the longest tees. Detailed directions are needed since the golf course is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with the area since there are no signs of how to get there along the roads. Credit cards aren't accepted either, cash only.

Enjoyed my round very much. No wait at any holes. This course could be taken care of better. greens aere starting to show dryness. Carts are far outdated.

Worth it
Good for the price. Greens are very small and fairways aren’t great but I’d say it’s worth it.
Fun Time to Experiment
Our Group ha a great time at Pomona. Each of us experimented with club selection and various shots we do not regularly try. The course has a nice layout and enough challenge for an enjoyable round for all.
Great little course for the money!
This was my first time playing this course. It is a family owned short 9-hole course. The course was in good condition and was perfect for some iron practice. Even though the course is not long it does have some teeth. You can't just go out there and swing away. The course did require accuracy and quality shots because the fairways were tight in the right spots and most holes had a dogleg. The greens were in good shape but were very small which required quality approach shot. Pace of the greens were not as fast as I am used to but they weren't slow either. You could be aggressive but not to aggressive. The pace of play was excellent! Finished 9 hours in 1.5 hours. I would definitely play here again. I tried to upload images but the app won't let me.

Had my clubs in the car and had 2 hours to kill. Hot deal for 11$ played solo. Everyone let me play through, mostly retired guys or middle aged women. Greens are small and flat, fairways are what you’d expect for 11$. Played 9 holes in an hour and 20. Can’t complain for what it is.

Grounds
It would be much nicer. If the grass around the tree line was cut way down. It’s growing out of control. The brush and grass is way too high and too many balls get lost. Because of the loss of balls, this can be a deterrent from playing golf there all the time.

Great laid back course
I showed up with the same day reservation got there about an hour early sat down and had a really good very very reasonably priced pulled pork sandwich. They sell used golf balls for like $.75 which you can’t beat a member there’s alcohol available. Carts are decent electric tee boxes are pretty good cart path is laid out nicely it’s not terribly difficult when your ball absolutely rockets into the woods ( I know tiger you never do that) but I do and it’s not hard to find the ball it’s a 9hole course and great for beginners such as myself
