Great Layout. Enjoyable spread of holes
This course is a gem. Great conditions, and great layout as well. My only complaint is all the goose poop, but what can you do...? Before being added to Golfnow, it was virtually impossible to get a time here without being a resident of the township, so I'm excited it's more available now.
Beautiful and challenging
Despite a frost delay this morning (shocking, I know!), the course was in great condition. Very nice features and definitely a challenge for me as a beginner - playing from the tips I think would still be fun for more advanced players, with some especially long holes and tricky elevated greens. Sand traps were in excellent shape, as were the greens. Absolutely worth playing if you're a local, and even pretty good for a registered out-of-state.
Needs work
This is a county course and like most county courses the resources to maintain it are scarce. The layout of the Red/White course is a good one, the holes conform to the landscape and give a good challenge. However drainage is poor and sand in the bunkers is nonexistant . If you are Bergen County resident the course is a bargain if not the value is poor.
