Rockleigh Golf Course - Red/White

Do not go if your not a Bergen County Resident. Paid $66.00 for an Out of County Resident. Geese love this place and they crap all over it to prove it. Fairways were spotted with brown dead areas. Greens were in good condition, good speed, and only spotty on a couple areas.

Greens were slow; fairways hadn’t been cut in days. Also, despite the fact that it was very dry, there was a 90 degree rule with carts, so drives just outside of the fairway were long walks away and nearly impossible to find in overgrown rough. Not to mention, 1/3 of the holes were infested with geese, their poop, and their feathers. The course has a good layout and, therefore, potential, but was really disappointing today. Not worth $80 on a Saturday.

Course was in great shape with pristine fairways and very nice greens that were moderate to fast rolls. Certainly didn’t feel like county course greens! Highly recommend this course!

They lost my time had to tee off 45 min after my scheduled time refused to give me a cart then when I finally got one they made me bring it in and walk. Pace of play was one of the worst ever and it’s not a hard course at all. Oh and after they lost my time they told me you can go play somewhere else.... so please play somewhere else.

Apparently they are not allowed to run the sprinklers in this dopey place. The course is all dried out. The greens and fairways are in so so shape. They can’t cut the grass properly so it is too high in most places. The bunkers just have dirt in them no proper type of sand. Many of he holes are slanted so you run into a lot of akward lies.

I was very impressed with the course.

Country club quality. Fairways,greens great shape. Interesting mix of holes that kept your attention. Definitely a replay. Have to pay attention on tee box all were not perfectly flat. Played Red/White.

Golf course had a nice layout in proximity to where I live, beautiful day today

It was sunday pin placement on the front 9 but got straighter putts on the back. Love the length even from the whites. Fairways were good and tees challenges your natural tee swing. You have to perform a shot with distance or plan on green in 3. It's not for driver then pw golfers... bring your mid iron game or green in 4. Only gave 4 bc of the bunkers. The dude i was with kept trying to hit out of them smh... dude.that's concrete stop... thanks Rockliegh

Overall fairway conditions were great and greens were a bit faster than usual county course green speeds which was fantastic to play on. Challenging par 3 holes. This course is truly a gem amongst county courses!
