About
Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

Great Condition
I use to live in Somerset County and played Quail Brook often. This was my first time playing in a few years. Course was in excellent condition, especially the greens . Will be back again
Terrific golf course!
Conditions were great, and it’s November! The leaves make for some pace of play issues, but I feel this course does a better job than most keeping the fairways and greens clear. I will definitely be back next summer.
The only warning that I would give is that this course does not offer food, so bring plenty of snacks.
Love this course
This is one of my favorite courses. The only criticism I would have is the peace of play. I wish that someone would come out every once in a while to check the pace of play. Sometimes you get stuck waiting at every hole
Better than ever
Played this course so many times in the past but the last time I played it it was in the best condition I could ever remember the greens are fast and true fairways are cut very nice a great course for a county course

Course in great condition, course staff is as friendly as it gets. This is quickly turning into my favorite public course in the area. Can’t wait to play here again.
