I went to the course to play a practice round to get ready for a tournament here soon. They refused to let me out as a single. No one was teeing off for the next 45minutes yet they refused to let me out as a single because they said they don’t allow single anymore…The starter said singles mess up the course..I wanted to play from the tips to practice for a tournament and no one else is in front of me or behind me…If I played with a group and walked and played from the tips while they drove a cart and played from the whites now that would mess up the flow…No one else was teeing off for the next 45 minutes and would not allow me to tee off by myself instead they said I can wait 45minutes for the next group to show up and play with them. This is just ridiculous for a public golf course in NJ. Especially when I am legit trying to just practice for a tournament that is being held at this course just weeks away. Unbelievable. Very disappointing. . Egos ruin public golf courses smh

management really hassled us out on the course about being behind the group in front of us I was playing with three other people who have never played the course and explained to them different shots they needed to hit and we were moving at a very good pace but the Marshall not only told us to speed it up but he sat there and watched us to make sure that we were going faster not a pleasant experience these other three fellows probably will never come back. The greens are so incredibly fast it's like we're playing on the PGA tour I don't know what the purpose of the speed is they are difficult greens to begin with and such a low-cut make some very difficult to putt on

It is a very well-managed golf course, and all the staff are friendly.

It was my first time to play there.

When I got into the entrance, it looked like flat and easy course but I was wrong. It is about total 6000yd course, nice & wide fairways on front 9, but back 9 was much tougher with blind tee shot, narrow fairways, dogleg holes, up and down to the green, etc. the most challenging thing was each green. It was great conditions and so fast. It was so much fun to read greens and put.

My husband and I had a great time and we will come back to play again!

Had a great time at Westwood. The staff were very friendly and personable from the front desk to the starter. We were paired with a staff member who was very polite. The greens were quick and the fairways were in solid shape. Stopped at the restaurant after and the food was delicious and servers were wonderful.

The course was in good condition and the pace of play was fine. I got an online rate that was very reasonable which helped

It would be nice if there was cart service on the course.

For the $85 that I paid, it is definitely not with it.

It’s a nice little course on such a small spot. The staff are awesome and the atmosphere is chill. Wish there was a range but oh well. Will play again.

Course was enjoyable Staff very helpful and friendly On the down side cart paths need a lot of wort and around some greens the grass was patchy. Otherwise the 3 of us had a nice outing

The course is very busy on the weekends. Our round was almost 5 hours despite the Ranger moving people along. The greens were very challenging and lightening fast but they rolled true.

The snack shack at the turn had a good selection of drinks and all the prices were reasonable.

All in all it’s a good course with reasonable rates even on the weekends. Just expect a slower round on the weekend, so have an extra drink and you will enjoy it.

I like the hilly layout with elevated tee boxes and greens. Nice course.

All staffs are friendly and offer cool water bottles to customers. It is very professional and consider well to all customers

Nice course. Pace of play could have been slightly better, we’d usually have to wait about 2 minutes to tee off after the group ahead of us, but honestly that’s not too bad and we arrived at 9am on a Sunday. It’s expected.. Still finished in 3.5 hours maybe a little more. Staff was friendly, drinks affordable. As a pretty novice golfer I enjoyed this course a lot.
