Westwood Golf Club

Course was in great shape. Hooked up with 3 guys I just met and had a blast. Done in a little less then 4 hours. Definitely will go back.

First I want to say that I am not the type person to write a review regardless of the issue; however this was unacceptable. Me and 3 friends T’d off at 6:27 am. We play this course almost weekly. We never complain about the awful pin placements or the fact that they charge $82 dollars when the course should cost 50. We were on the 7th hole and at this point it was 7:25. We were way ahead of pace. The ranger comes up to us and says “ hey guy’s can we pick the pace up, the group ahead of you is about a hole and a half ahead. He failed to mention that they were a 3 some. The group behind us was about 2 holes behind us. We kindly said sure we will pick it up, but the group behind us is way behind. The ranger was super nice and even though he was wrong, we kept cool and tried to pick it up. We got to the 10th hole at 8:10am, 17 minutes ahead of pace. The starter “LARRY” proceeded to tell us we needed to pick it up. We explained to him that we were 17 minutes ahead of schedule and that the group ahead of us was a 3some. LARRY said it doesn’t matter, this is coming from above me. As if god contacted him and told us we needed to play faster. LARRY said it doesn’t matter that you’re ahead of pace, the group in front of you has a 1.5 hole separation. I asked LARRY, how this makes sense? He said it doesn’t need to make sense, we just need to play faster. By the time the round was over, we finished in 3.5 hours. We were pulling up to the starter by 10:03am. This is when all hel broke lose. My buddy made a comment to LARRY suggesting we really played slow, 3.5 hours this must be a record. LARRY told my friend to stop screaming, (he wasn’t screaming). I told LARRY, that he is wrong. There is no way a 4some can keep up with a 3some.

Westwood will never get our business AGAIN!!!!!

Got there early and was allowed to tee off as a twosome. Front nine about 80 minutes. Caught a twosome on nine and they were hitting two balls each. But allowed us to pass on ten. Caught a 3 some on 15 and finished with in 3 hours.

I was impressed by the considerate service of the golf club staff who delivered cold water bottles to the golfers.

Some short Par 4s, but overall a pretty good wide open course. Fescue divides most holes and not many trees. Not a challenging course. Greens run true

Service was terrible. Course conditions were terrible. Ranger was terrible. The only good thing was the cart girl but she doesnt move… she just stays at hole 3. Worst experience not worth any penny i paid. Will not go back.

Great course, absolutely beautiful. Well kept. Tee boxes in great conditions, fairways and greens very well kept. Great pace and just an overall great day! Can’t wait to play again

Hole 10, 15 & 16 are just stupid!

11 isn’t gear either!

Went there for the first time today. The course was in decent shape but the staff constantly rushed us when were right on the group in front. Stopped for just a hotdog and a drink and got a harassed to hurry up and stay with the group in front. Then sat through a 3hr rain delay and went in to ask if we were going to continue today or get a refund and all they had to say was I don’t know… not sure what kind of service that is but horrible communication. Won’t be going back. Plenty of courses for the same price point and better service.

Went to this course for the first time and will not be going back. Decent course but the staff is literally horrible. Waited 3Hrs after being stopped 12holes in for the rain. Nobody from the course reached out about a restart time and when I went in to ask they said IDK when we could play and if we would get a refund. Unreal. Mean while we were rushed multiple times by the Ranger throughout the round meanwhile we were waiting for the group in front of us to drive half the time. Terrible service.

My son and I were two new players. Paired up with a couple other cool guys. Had fun. No pressure and positive.
