New Mexico State University Golf Course

First time playing the NM State University GC. I was met by friendly staff & members. Impressive clubhouse and exceptional practice facilities on site.

A mid morning tee time, blue skies, and a gentle breeze to start the round off. Winter conditioning of the course was very good. As the fairways were dormant and as expected, they ran fast and firm which allowed for more options, carry my shots into the greens or bump and run them into the pins. There are a few elevation changes, some good bunkering, a scattering of trees. Stick to the fairways and you'll do well.

I always enjoy playing a course that can bring every stick in your bag into play. NM State University GC is a good and fair test of golf that provides exceptional value for your golfing dollar.

Course was in very good shape for time of year.

Great course. Fairways are dormant as expected for January. Greens are in great condition. Staff is always great and courteous. Will definitely be back.

Excellent condition, fast pace and friendly staff.

The course was in terrific condition. Staff and drink girl were very considerate, helpful. Was no real time spent waiting till 2 of the par 3s, that was because i was by myself and had 5 some in front of me. Ill be going back soon taking some friends with me. Hope to see you their.

Old time course with big shade trees witch are good for the hot days,very good shape,and the greens hold your shots. VERY FUN TO PLAY.

Boring lay out with a gale force wind and very slow golfers in front all made for a poor outing overall. The best thing was the cheap cost of $14 including a trolley.

I have played here since it opened, so I have seen the changes that have occured. I have always enjoyed playing here. the course layout is great, although they can remove certain trees. The STAFF has always been GREAT.

This is the Old course. Yellow winter overseed. Decent greens. Reasonable pricing.

The fairway grass is bermuda, and it's dormant so you have to take extra care to not scald the ball. Some of the rough is long dormant bermuda, and hitting against the grain is challenging. All in all a great course.
