Overall

We played this course while on our way to Tuscon in March so it wasn't the best time of year. Never-the-less, we really enjoyed the course , would play it again and would recommend it to others.

Good Greens

The greens are very good shape! The fareways are dead this time of year and the bunkers in good shape. Grateful for No strong winds.

The course has gone downhill the last few years. First of all, the COVID SPAMDEMIC is over! Where are the ball washers at the tee boxes! Some of the sand traps only have one rake. There's water fountains at several areas BUT, only a few are turned on! The marshals work in exchange for play time but THEY DO NOTHING! The marshals I've interacted with have VERY BAD ATTITUDES! The course use to carry water in a LARGE IGLOO COOLER for free and I must say this was a HUGE BONUS for people on medication that makes them thirstier than most people. I consider the lack of working water fountains a HEALTH HAZARD! The course will learn the hard way about these simple things.

greens are fantastic and bunkers are best in town. great value, but you pay for it with nauseating pace of play!

Winter time play

Having played this course during other times of the year was the reason for not having a 5 star rating. I will also say that considering that the course is in its dormant season it was a lot of fun to play. As always with this university course the staff was friendly and helpful. Yes, I will play this course again.

Course is packed a lot! However I’d they required riding you would gain probably an hour on each round. Slow play here is brutal. 5-6 hour round at times.
