Lynx Port Jervis
Course was in nice shape, proved to be both challenging and relaxing at the same time.
Restaurant under new management, limited menu had something for everyone. According to the cook, they are planning on expanding the menu and are applying for a liquor license.
I have played this course several times over the years, many times for tournaments.

Great Round at The Lynx at River Bend
I've played this course over several years now and each year the overall course conditions seem to improve. Hats off to the maintenance staff. Not the longest course but some fun holes, beautiful scenery, fast pace of play and pleasant staff. This is my summer course and for the money it's a great value.

Good but needs better care
I’ve always loved the layout here. And hadn’t played it in a couple of years. It’s pretty for sure, and there have been some improvements regarding eye appeal. But the greens are notoriously slow. And a couple of them are in tough shape. T boxes need help too. They should be dead flat and with good grass cut close. The fairways are OK but the grass is so so mix of stuff and should be better for a Fairway. The cart paths are in rough shape and one is washed out in part—dangerous. It’s a par three that overlooks a pond. That said, you can still enjoy the course because you get to use a lot of different clubs. And the price is right.
