Surprisingly decent
The course was in surprisingly good shape. Fast and clean greens. There was a decent amount of hilly fairways and elevation changes to keep it interesting. I’ve always avoided booking here, but it seems the current bad rating is from mismanagement of the course last year.
LaTourette in very good shape
Course is having a tremendous bounce back from a very challenging (covid) year last year for all . Greens are great (fast)... course is in very good shape. We were one of the first groups out at 5:30 AM Saturday..pace was excellent for us - not sure the groups behind us could say that. A little pricey on weekends but to be expected
Play elsewhere.
No starter, no ranger, very disorganized. Greens were actually in decent shape but slow. Bunkers in bad shape with little sand. Pace was painfully slow. 6hr+ round.
Bad all around
You can’t blame slow play entirely on a course but the course management can certainly be active in keeping play up. I was apart of a twosome, figuring that we would get paired up, the pro shop just said “go for it” thought it odd but went out anyways. The foursome in front of us took THREE HOURS to play 9. No marshal, no starter
Very relaxed
It’s nice course and good view. We were very relaxed on the course. I would like to play again on this course.
Better
They are finally fixing this place. It’s looks much better then it’s been. Some tee boxes still need TLC. Happy to start going back.
