LaTourette Golf Course

This is without question the worst conditioned course I have ever seen. The fact that a hot deal was $50 is a joke. They should not charge more than $20 a round here. Greens bumpy and slow. Fairways W no grass and weeds.tee box w no grass. Golf now should be ashamed of themselves for putting this course in their website.

the place is a mess.... their weeds going out of the bunkers.... no sand... some of them had sand and it looked like a day at the beach after everybody left for the day... you can tell nobody came and groomed them... tee boxes we're mostly dirt... greens were a mess bear patches all over... to be honest I knew what I was getting into when I made the tee time but it was convenient for me... but by far the worst course I've played this year

i love la tourette for the course, the distance, the layout, but they clearly let it slip during COVID lockdown.

I would still play again, but compared to this time last year the tee boxes are pure mud, the bunkers are literally a weed jungle, and the fairways have taken a hit.

until they fix this, they are taking the p1ss by charging the same rate as last year.

After reading zero star ratings, i felt it necessary to set the record straight. A decent municipal course in late summer shape. Very dry and neglected sand traps is balanced by well conceived layout and some challenging holes. Worth the $55 on a Sunday morning.

What an embarrassment. No care taken. The entire course is over run with weeds and dirt. The fairways have dirt in the middle and no grass. The sand traps look like garbage dumps. You hit a great shot into the middle of the fairway and it’s like being in the rough. For $75 they should be ashamed of themselves. will never play here or recommend it ever again. Which is sad because I grew up playing this course.

P.S. the parking lot is a death trap and will destroy your car so be careful.

The course is in bad shape but i understand cuz of the lock down. It’s gonna take some time to make more enjoyable. I still enjoyed playing there.

We tee at 9:50 am today and finished our round at 5 hours 15 minutes. A 4some in front of us has tee off two three off the tee box and they are two holes behind. Called ranger at holes 11. They moved forward obe hole but and they holding 5 to ten minutes almost every tee short. Green is bad after airated. Tee bos is like sand track. Bunkers look like mud and grass grow in them. Man it horrible. I believe LA Tourette has not maintence their course at all since last six months. I really want golfnow to bring them down. All of think we should get fully fund. They almost $60. Guys and girls stay away from this, course and don't waste your time and money.

This is not my first time playing here so I was hopeful it would be in good shape. I booked a tee time for 1250, and I knew I was I for a rough day from the tee.

The course is in absolutely terrible shape. The tee boxes reminded me of Cosmo Kramer on the beach hitting balls. They were mostly sand and dirt. No grass, and tees just sank in the ground and when I swing the club I actually slid. The fairway are a mix of crab grass, and dirt. The greens were aerated and covered with sand. On the topic of sand, there was more sand on the greens than in the bunkers, which had hard wet sand and crab grass. In terms of the bunkers, not a rake to be found, and some of the bunkers clearly had been driven through with golf carts.

All in all I would never pay for this again. I expected more being open post covid now for almost 2 months, but clearly there has been little to no maintenance of any of form here. Do yourself a favor go to NJ, clearly the city of ny can not manage a golf course despite very high greens fees. I wish there was a way to get a refund, as this can not be considered a golf course not in its condition.

The fee boxes were all brown with no grass . The sand traps were filled with weeds. The course was very brown . I have been playing this course for over 30 years and this year the course is awful and embarrassing. They blamed it on the pandemic but NJ courses are in much better shape. Shame on you for neglecting the maintenance of this beautiful course . It is not the price of $75 crazy

Avoid at all cost. It seems the groundskeeper died from COVID as no one has maintained the course.

Frankly, the course is disgusting. GolfNow should remove purely to maintain its reputation.

50% of tee boxes were pure dirt - no grass. Fairway hadn’t been trimmed, traps overflowed with weeds. Mosquitoes overflowed from stagnant water.

Waste of money, go somewhere else.

THE COURSE WAS ONE BIG SAND TRAP. TEE BOXES, FAIRWAYS AND GREENS ALL SAND. THE SAND TRAPS HAD MORE GRASS THAN THE TEE BOXES OR FAIRWAYS. I will never play this course again.

By far the worst course I have ever played. Tee boxes all sand, fairway sand, bunkers had weeds and grass and the greens were like Sand.
