Poorer conditions
Came back to play after several years. Conditions became very poor.
My tee time was forced to be earlier time by the starter for no reason. I had to rush the first hole
Bad Conditions, Course Neglect
Lost 3 balls in bunkers that were like kiddie Pools.
2hrs30mins and wasn’t even through 7 holes
Probably one of the worst paces of play ever!! 2hrs30mins and we were only through 7 holes!!! By the time we finished the 9th hole the total time it took to play 9 holes was about 2hrs and 50 mins ! Almost three hours 9 holes ! What a joke I walked off after that and didn’t even finish. Course usual has backup and probably needs a marshal at all times.
Due to the week's rain....
The front 9 was better but the majority of fairways, bunkers were seeing results of the heavy rains, especially on the back 9, fairways were very soft, wet, muddy. Surprisingly, the greens weren't affected but there were many unfixed divots (shame on golfers!). The course mgmt. (rightly) ruled cart path only, which made for a slower pace (4.5 hours).
The course layout is comfortable and challenging (11th tee shot is blind, be cautious) especially the first time.
Nice course
This is a friendly course with just enough holes that are challenging. Great carts but you can walk this course as well. I highly recommend it.
Spoon rock
All good here except starter made 2 guys pair up who didn’t know each other and have different games , u waste more time that way then single riding , still good for right deal ,
