Coarse has plenty of water to make it very challenging. Beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife.

much improved green and fairway conditions from a year ago. need to make sure golfers know that carts need to be in by 7pm. it is playable til 8pm now, so should allow carts out til then.

Nice course, wonderfull lay out, great wildlife, condition not to bad, a little pricy for the money. New management does what it can to keep the course in good shape.

Conveniently located course on Sanibel Island but the condition of the course is unacceptable. Tee boxes are void of grass, very small and uneven. Greens are terribly slow. Overall quality and condition of the course is poor - given the price of the round it is certainly a poor buy.

We travelled to FT Myers to play quality courses. Sorry to say that dispite the positive reviews, Sanibel was extremely disappointing. The course layout was nice and challenging but that is the only thing positive I can add. No beverage cart. No Washrooms on the front nine. Tee blocks were a mess, Grass not cut on fairways and greens that should be fairways. Travel too the course is difficult.
My biggest complaint is that we payed $80.00 based on reviews from people who felt it was a quality track. Not the case, save your money.
Golfnow needs to monitor reviews and charge relative to quality. I hope they enjoy our money, we will think twice about booking again with Golfnow.

If you're staying on Sanibel or Captiva, there aren't many choices for golf without battling the traffic back on the mainland. That's really the only reason to play this course. I'd describe this course as scruffy - the greens are slow, the fairways are very mixed, the tee boxes are beat up. But it's under new ownership and they seem committed to improving conditions.

This course is short, but makes up for it in some tight fairways and greens. It wasn't in pristine condition, but was in decent shape. Staff was friendly, but the restaurant service was lacking. Would recommend you try this course if you are in the area.

Der Platz ist für alle Spielstärken gut zu spielen. Greens für Floridaverhältnisse eher langsam, aber schön. Es gibt leider keine Driving Ranch. Restaurant sehr dunkel. Personal sehr freundlich.,

The was was in good condition. Greens were well maintained. Pretty straight forward. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate a late arrival. If you are not on the island leave early to get to the course . The traffic is insane. Finally, it was a good value for the price.

Greens were great but a little slow from overseeding
Tee boxes could use some work grass was sparse and boxes did not seem to offer many if any flat spots to hit from

Need to find a way to put water on the course for drinking and facilities somewhere on the front!

Don't want to leave Sanibel Island. Don't want to fight the traffic. Don't want to pay exobitent prices. Then Sanibel golf course could be the place for you.
We enjoyed the course even though it is short... it's actually fun. The staff are courteous and professional. Their restaurant has a reputation for good food. We played here 3 times during our week in Sanibel, a testimony to it's enduring appeal.
We shall return.

Ok round in a great setting. Course could use strip me TLC.

L'ensemble du golf est un parcours interessant avec beaucoup d'eau donc de beaux défis mais la condition des allées est misérable, les vert sont lents pourtant ils pourraient très bien etre intéressant car plusieurs sont vallonné donc il faut bien ciblé le drapeau. ce parcours est mal entretenu, meme les lave-balles sont malpropre. Meme si nous n'avons pas pas payé le gros prix nous avons été déçu de ce parcours et nous n'y retournerons pas.

Enjoyed playing this course. Challenging but fair. Tee boxes need improved.

It was good to see the conditions of this course improving and the overall experience- a definite change in what we experienced last year. Staff and new owners are very accommodating. The club house has had some nice improvements, especially the bar-lounge. A course Marshall should be on the course at all times and speed up play as it was a slower round than we anticipated. A beverage cart would be a nice addition. All in all, the new owners are on the right track and I would recommend this course and will definitely be back.

Since I work at a Jersey golf course I find myself being a little critical, but can't be too much with t h is course. The new owners are getting this course back to where it should be. Great job guys !! The challenge is there but not to rough for the average golfer !! I enjoyed it the few times I played while spending time in Sanibel!
Most definitely will return !!

I've played Sanibel Island Golf Club in the past before the current ownership (2 yrs) and at that time was very dissapointed in the course condition. The greens were horible back then and in need of serious attention. Aprpearenrly they've given it. The greens were in very good shape and well maintained. Now the club needs to improve the tee boxes. They are quite beat up.

Very welcoming team from bag drop through after game snack.
Problem is, the course is really tired and tee boxes very scruffy.
The course is surrounded by water but the tee boxes and fairways are dried out and desperate for irrigation.
The potential is huge as the layout is excellent.

Overall course was good however the tee boxes need a lot of work as they were pretty rough
