Sanibel Island Golf Club

The course fairways are still showing the results of hurricane Ian and are very patchy in places. The greens however are in pristine condition. The pro shop manager was very friendly and helpful.

Some of the best greens in Florida. I) be back and can't wait to see all the efforts of recovering from Ian continue. Thanks Drew for a great day!

Greens and around the greens were in great condition but just a little slow. Fairways on most holes were about 40% dirt. Many of the trees were destroyed and some are just coming back. Golf carts were new but were not electric and did not have GPS. Staff was very friendly and got us out a little earlier than our tee time. Finished 18 holes in 3hrs 20 mins

This course was damaged terribly by hurricane Ian. Fortunately they were able to keep the course open.

The course has lots of damage but tee boxes and greens areas are in pretty good condition. The greens are doing well but not cut very short hence making them pretty slow. The fairways are a different story. Mostly bare with patches of Bermuda.

Given time and some continued cash flow, they should be back to good condition. In another year or so.

The impact of Hurricane Ian is seen on most holes. I am sure it was once beautiful but will take some work.

We played this course with anticipation of finding some issues with conditions knowing full well the destructive rath of Ian; however, my wife and I both were surprised to how much farther the course needs to come to get back to realistic playable shape. Any low areas of the fairways is complete wasteland (dirt), Sand traps were fine and the greens albeit sanded were not too bad. We would encourage people considering playing here to wait until next fall or winter.

I have never played on a golf course with such miserable fairways in my golfing career! There was almost no grass, just brown earth. 100$ for this golf course is an absolute cheek!

Nice Greens, very few patch of grass in the fairway. Club house close, add a 6$ fee to pass the bridge..

I will come back in a few years!
