Hickory Hill Golf Course

Course is in great shape for mid November. Tee boxes a bit chewed up but fairways were beautiful and green were in excellent condition but a bit unfair as balls rolled right off green on several holes. Also rough is a bit too high as many balls lost just off fairway,, although I did find quite a few other balls..lol. Beautiful scenery, enjoyable round.

It never fails….about to tee off and here comes the rain.

Regardless of on and off rain had a great time. Not many people playing so the pace was excellent. The rough was higher than I remember in the past seemed like your ball disappeared Greens we’re in very good shape, fairways were well taken care of. If anything a few tee boxes could use some TLC.

Like this course will no doubt be back again.

There’s also a pie place close by that just makes it all worth it.

Nice course, well kept. Larry the Starter keeps things rolling, and also a really nice guy.

The course is okay, but I will never go back.

The starter/ranger came to our group on the 8th hole to tell us, in a very aggressive tone, we are playing slow, suggesting us to play best ball or just pick up our balls mid hole to keep up. Our foursome was about 1hr 50 mins into our round.

After the 9th hole, he was waiting for us and rushed us again. I told him it only took us 2 hrs and 10 mins to play the first 9, and there was no group ahead of us to begin with (we weren’t falling behind).

He responded in a very snarky tone, “Thank you. I will take that under advisement. Now move along.”

Then he felt the need to harass me AGAIN after the 18th hole. He waved me over to tell me I can’t be recording my friend’s swings if we are slow players, especially on a Sunday.

I told him it took us exactly 4 hrs and 13 mins to finish the round. He checks his watch and goes “I don’t care. I am just telling you what I heard.” I ask him how he can be so rude, and he just turned his back on me and didn’t respond.

I took zero mulligan and shot a 85. Were we suppose to finish 18 holes under four hours? Smh.
