5 hour golf
7:50 tee time. Backed up from the start. Never got better.
Basic experience
We were partnered up with another group without notification. There was no beer cart girl at all and the tee boxes were dry. I would like to see this course invest in signs or hole identifiers.
Overall the course was challenging, yet slightly under par compared to most other Saint Louis courses.
nice fairways
I haven't played there for a while, it was a nice surprise to see the fairways in good shape, the course has a nice layout. Greens were in good shape as well.
Needs yardage markers!
Price was right, conditions were good but there are no visible yardage markers on a majority of the course. How difficult would it be to paint on the cart path? I had a range finder but some jerk stole it from my cart at the turn on a different course. Today was a total guessing game. Please, mark the course.
Slow weekday play
The course was overcrowded on a Tuesday morning. 2 and 3 groups at every tee box. It took 4.25 hours to get through 14 holes, we didn’t have time to finish the round.
1st time at paradise
1st time at paradise. The office staff was very friendly, making small talk as I waited my tee time and accommodated for an extra golfer in our group who was a last minute add on. Front 9 was very slow, not the courses fault that everyone choose to golf the same day. Back 9 was beautiful. Great views. Challenging greens. Had a great time. Only complaint was that some holes were narrow. Would come back again
Good for the price
Pace of play was absurdly slow took well over 4 hours to play 18 with 2 people had to wait at least 10 mins per shot. The fairways were in poor condition and the cart paths are an absolute death trap.
Memorial Day weekend
They were running 10 minutes late on tee times. The little over 5 hour round was slow with sometimes three foursomes on ate box waiting to tee off. Many of the tees did not have grass on them. The fairways were thin. Greens were in good shape. The cost for a weekend was fair. Tight course but fair.
Why tee off intending to get a fairway lie with no grass?
Made mo sense to me why they have fountains at the club house but fairways so hard and void of grass you’d prefer to be in the rough!
You Get What You Pay For
It’s a challenging layout, and overall decent for the price. The greens are in great shape and roll true. The fairways are pretty good too, but have a little bit of catching up to do. Tee boxes are rough and very bare; but if you’re teed up, it doesn’t really matter all that much.
Great round
Great round. Haven’t played a round in 5 years and throughly enjoyed getting back into golf. I have always enjoyed the layout of Paradise Valley.
Dead fairways.
I hit into the fairway quite a lot, but there's no reward for hitting the fairways here. You end up with a dirt or mud lye. Wake up. You have a fairway grass growing problem. It could be a great course.
Large groups = slow play
Group of 6 players & 5 carts in front of us on front, skip 10 and go by them only to see another group of 6 on back, on a Saturday to boot...
