Close to Paradise
Great value, decent condition for late fall, met some great guys. Will be back.
Inside nature
Good course. The greens were a bit rough on some holes, but overall a great time. The only issue for me was the pace of play at the beginning, there were quite a few groups stacked up in front and no room to play through
Poor greens
Course hass a quirky layout and is tight. Course was extremely dry but there hasn’t been a lot of rain in September and October so far. Lots of dead spots on the greens but where there wasn’t dirt the greens rolled ok.
Great value
Well laid out and good condition. Friendly staff. Great value
It's okay
It's an okay course, very punishing but challenging. The greens are horrid, too many bare spots and constantly have aeration holes in them. You can have fun playing here as long as you don't take putting seriously
Good Layout
I just like the layout of the golf course. Needs a lot of work though, I still enjoy it.
Course in good shape... but pace of play was abysmal
The title says it all... the course played well, a couple of greens were a bit rough but the fairways and tee boxes were in solid shape.
The brutal part was that it took almost 5.5 hours to play 18. We were a pair matched with another random pair - totally fair, but if you’re going to ram groups together and mandate a starting order (which saw us tee off 20 minutes later than our booked time), then at least have a marshal keeping pace of play up. Waited on literally every shot and every tee box, finally saw there was a foursome 3 groups ahead that were holding up us and 5 other groups.
All of this could’ve been avoided if they’d have let groups go off the back or not overbooked the tee times but it just utterly ruined what would otherwise have been a good day of golf.
Needs Work
Greens are like mine fiends to putt through and cart paths are dangerous at times. Won’t be playing Paradise again. Friendlier clubhouse wouldn’t hurt either
Good deal
The price was great ($27), but the course could use some work. A lot of the greens were down to sections that were all dirt, and the cart paths had some HUGE pot holes that you had to be careful of.
Bad Greens
The course was semi crowded but slow play was the biggest problem. .If you hit the ball 30 yards time after time you need to just pick up your ball and move on when it is crowded. I myself play best ball when it is crowded. Almost every green had big patches of no grass.. The staff is very friendly and helpful!
Wouldn’t recommend
Over half the greens were dead which was very frustrating. The tee box’s were kind of beat up and were in bad shape. I was really disappointed in the courses condition. The back nine had a much better layout and the greens weren’t as bad as the front, but I still wouldn’t recommend playing this course.
