Paradise Valley -a must
First time playing this course and I was very impressed!! For this late in the year, the greens were and fairways were in great condition. Kudos to the team here and how this course looks. I will be playing here again and often.
Good round
Good round of golf. Course was in good shape. Only complaint is that they got new carts with GPS trackers and the timing on them is not accurate. We were getting notifications constantly saying we were behind and we were right on pace. Needs adjusted for them booking T times ever 15 min and getting held up.
Slow play
I will never understand why a busy course
(At the time) would allow fivesomes. 5 hours on a
weekday is about an hour too long for this course. I
Partners
Did not like being partnered up with someone else I didn’t even know. Probably won’t be back
A Great Day of Golf
The staff are always great, the course was in good shape and our foursome had a great time.
Prepay Wastes Time
There was no one on this course. My partner and I arrived maybe 35 minutes before our tea time. No one went out the entire time we were there and no one teed off until 30 to 45 minutes after we ultimately did. They insisted we wait till our team time and and insisted with play with the other single that prepaid. I understand the prepaid rules, but use some common sense and let people play and play with the people they are with when you can. Just really frustrating and timewasting.
Fine value
Paradise Valley is a fun, old school track. Some nice elevation changes, some small tricky greens.
Great pace of play. Great value for the money
Goat Ranch
One of the worst courses, facilities, staff I’ve ever experienced in almost 50 years of playing golf. Clubhouse closed at 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon. No water available anywhere on the course. Will never play there again. Ever.
Not what it was
Nothing like it was a couple decades ago, used to be a beautiful place to play, it is now a little run down, bad cart paths, overgrown with weeds in the non playing areas, fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape, the greens looked pretty good but were way too slow to be able to putt well, the rough is ok on some holes and pretty bad on others. No drinking water provided on course, some holes are a long way from green to tee and there are no signs indicating what hole it is. The green fees are reasonable. It’s not a horrible place to play, but not great either, just below average.
Good Value
This course is in pretty good shape. It’s not the most creative of designs, but it was perfect for my daughter who was with me and is just taking the game up. There was some aggravation in getting from hole 3 to 4 tee box. They had a bridge out and rerouted the golfers….the problem was that there was no signage. The overall experience was a good one though.
Great Place!
I took my son and we had a great time. The staff was fantastic and the carts and course were great. Great value!
Improved fairways & putting greens..
I was pleasantly surprised of how the fairways and the putting greens have improved, I was at the facility earlier this year, and the difference is quite obvious you're able to hit the ball without hitting dirt the fairways were cut to where you had rough you also had mild rough to make it challenging if you hit it out of the play area of the fairway. It is a decent intermediate golf course with some challenges fun to play. The staff was respectable and nice no problems there overall I rate it three and a half to four stars it was fun I would recommend it to a friend.
One of the areas best kept secrets
Everything was great. Only hassle was the bridge that got washed away between 4&5. Other than that there were a few tee boxes in need of some tlc. Overall was a great experience!
Challenging Course, Poor Pace of Play
This was our first time playing here on a beautiful day. The course was well kept and challenging however it was way over crowded. We were paired with another group of two for tee off but they didn’t show. We finally teed off 15 minutes after our scheduled time and18 holes typically takes us right at 3 hours but this round took us over four hours. We sat a lot waiting on each tee box which was incredibly frustrating. At one point we were overlooking three different holes and counted 10 carts either playing or waiting on those holes and there was no Marshall to keep groups going. For the amount of money it’s not worth the time and the frustration.
