Pace of play
Would of had a good time playing. Unfortunately, the staff that could marshal the pace of play would rather Stan around. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is. Police the pace of play .
Course in Decent Shape
I played the course for the time in several years. We played the blue blocks which made the course challenging. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were not bad. The cart paths are terrible and need attention/repair. They had a beverage cart but did not have water on the course. They should make people aware of this fact so they can get water at the turn. I do recognize they have made improvements to the course over the last two years but still have a ways to go to compare with other top flight courses in the area. However, for the price they charge for a weekend round, it is a good value.
Did not play
We did not play there because when we showed up for teetimes, we were told that we had to wait for 72 people to tee off before we could go. We did show up a half hour early. The person at the counter told us that we could not go out before the tournament. I asked him why they would book teetimes when they have a such a large tournament. He said that he did not control that. It did not offer to refund my money. I did call golf now a day later and they refunded my money. I would not play there again because of the way we were treated.
Poorly marked course with little to no signage. No water available on course. Golf carts not equipped with club or ball cleaners. I've played at better for less money.
Not excited
Other twosome who we knew nothing about were no shows . So we were held up even starting. Cart path was terrible, greens fair to good. No amenities. Holes not well marked on back nine.
Fun course, great day
Course was in good shape, rough was deep tough to find balls, greens were nice, consistent speeds.
Could be a good course
Course is in great condition for summer. Cart paths as always are horrible. Small things like weed eating some areas. Driving range is horrible. Pace of play is always slow in the morning hours. Trash laying in area's that most folks should pick up but you don't see anyone out working the course. Maybe have someone on a drink cart. Lost revenue there!
For the price it's a decent course. Could be sooo much better with a little effort.
It was almost 100 degrees and there were no water coolers or drink carts
Lots of trees little shade
You would think for being a forest course surrounded by trees that there would be shade but there was so little shade and it was 96° outside

Pretty fun course. Everything pretty well maintained but the tee boxes. I would definitely come back. Good staff good environment.
Good Value - Nice Course
I've played here for years and years. The staff are great. The grill serves excellent food. The course is the same as ever - nice greens, tees are pretty spotty, fairways were hard and fast. #12 tee is torn up and under construction, but there is one tee available to play from. It's a scenic track that is very playable. Slow pace of play right at five hours. For money spent - it's a very good value!
