Forest Park Golf Course

I do not know why this course missing offer the schedule in GolfNow in the early July. Hope it not happen again.

I returned to play again at Forest Park and it was delightful! The greens were in really good shape and the course moved along nicely. Will definitely return!

Played this literally the afternoon after Elsa left town. For as much rain as we got (and what some places in NYC looked like) the golf course was in great shape. Some tee boxes are still under repair. Many yardage signs are way over yardage. And the greens are so incredibly sloooow, even without the rain. But other than that, it’s a good layout that is challenging in some places and rewarding in others.

Despite very slow greens and a person in the foursome ahead of us who lined up every shot like he was in the PGA, I enjoyued the course like I always do.

I recently played here and thought the course was in great shape and well kept up. I will definitely be back!

Hot day so course was pretty empty so pace wasn’t an issue today. Course in decent shape with the exception of some tee boxes. Short course that challenges you if you don’t hit it straight. Some interesting greens. Decent value for your money

Forest Park if you like trees and you’re not afraid of losing your ball that’s the place for you course is tight in some spots but the whole usually opens upGreens are slow very good for amateur golfers peaceful surroundings

Recommend going during the week so it’s less crowded, staff is great, backs up around 3/4 and 9/10

Greens were good. On the slow side but rolled well. Players need to fix their ball marks. I fixed at least 4 on every hole. I feel price is a bit high on the weekend with a cart. The times fill up so they can get the rates they charge. Need to pick up the garbage. Trash was filled up n beer cans all over. Come on! Will go back.
