Forest Park Golf Course

Nice track that’s offers a decent challenge to single digit handicappers but still be enjoyed by the less skilled or experienced golfers. Great value too.

Played Saturday 7/4. Teed off at 11:30 and done just over four hours. Course is in good shape except for a few tee boxes. Will play again.

I realize the course just opened but the rough could use some trimming.

Was a great course to walk. The greens were well kept but slow, but we did play the day after an extremely rainy day. Tee boxes have minimal grass but expected for a high traffic golf course.

I booked the first tee time so we were done with 9 in about 1:30. But then we ran into people who were starting on the back 9, but still we were under 4 hours for the round.

The course has some easy straight holes, but has a fair amount of holes where you have to use some course management, where you can't just blast a driver. I think this makes a great course to practice on. Probably would never do this course on a weekend though.

The course was in great condition and not once did I feel unsafe like I read prior to coming. My only issue ( at no fault of their own) was no beverage cart due to conditions of this world but beside that I finished 18 in 4 and a half hours not much wait time and can’t wait to golf here again

It’s a great course. Course conditions aren’t good this early in March and it was expected.

The weather was in the 40s but great conditions on the course my first time playing here but not my last

greens where in great condition weather cooled so I quit after 15 holes pace of play was okay

Played on December 28. Was a bit cold but no problem. Courses in decent shape for this time of the year. Round took about 4 1/2 hours

Nice golf course 30 mins drive from Manhattan. That means crowded. The course design is pretty bad and dangerous. I am surprised we came out alive seriously. Balls shooting left and right, front and back. I wish i was riding the Pope Mobile car, wore a helmet and bullet proof vest. Left my window shield up at all time as a bullet proof protection but that wasn't enough. Even when you wait at the start, there's not a safe place to wait.

3 first holes took an hour. Again due to bad design. A par 4 followed by 2 par 3. That's not very smart. Long lines waiting and little action. It gets better after though.

We order burgers at club house and they were still raw so we didn't eat them and went back to get cooked ones during the waiting game.

It was a beautiful sunny day so we made the best of it.
