Sugar Mountain
Course is well maintained. Course located in a different (Mountain) setting which poses all new challenges to a golfer.
Very interesting course with some a lot of scenic holes. Enjoyed the round!

Course is awesome! The greens are fast so don’t kill it. The course layout is really nice but pay attention. The course address is NOT the one listed. The actual address is:

Loved the course. 9 par 3's, 8 par 4's and one par 5. Breathtaking! Awesome values! You will want to play!
Hidden Gem
This was an amazing course that I didn't even know existed and I had driven by it many times. First do not follow your GPS, it will take you to the top of Sugar Mtn and it is at the base. The people in the pro shop were very nice. I booked through Golf Now and when I arrived I was paired up with John and Dave (father and son). Dave has lived in Sugar Mtn for 30 years. Two of the nicest people you will ever play golf with. They really knew how to play the course. You will read that this is an executive course- don't be fooled. The course is challenging. It is rare that I have played a course in such great shape. The greens were fast and you had to be accurate with your putts or you would be rolling off the other side. They were sometimes quite a challenge to read. Not only will I play here again, this will be my favorite. It is about an hour drive from my home. If you have ever played Wolf Laurel, you will love this course.
Great Executive Course
As expected for the area, the course was in fantastic shape. Greens rolled true and moderately quick. Pace of play excellent and staff friendly.
Quirky layout being an executive course, but plenty of nice par 3's and 4's & an opportunity to hit 2 or 3 drivers. Plenty of great views. Worth a play, especially for a more casual round with friends/significant other.
