Golfer Reviews
Open grounds and fair play
Not too difficult of a place to play. Only played 9 but it was very forgiving. Will definitely play here again. FYI, my default rating on courses is 3 stars. Great value here.
Pace of play issues
First 9 holes were great, 3 ball finished an an hour and ten minutes. Took the turn, 30 minute wait for the tee box on 10. It took us 2.5 hours to get to Hole 14. We ended up calling it and left the course. There was a 4 ball on hole 17 (18 was wide open) holding up 2, groups of 4 and on 16 there was a 4 ball waiting to tee off. Needless to say, there absolutely needs to be a ranger or stop staggering tre times 5 minutes apart.
Emerald
Enjoyed the course. Good condition, despite being in a drought. A fair number of short distance part fours, but makes up for it with highly sloped and fast greens.
Beware of Slow Play
The course is in excellent condition. The course has a reputation for slow play although this was not the case yesterday and we finished our round in 3.5 hours. Previous two visits those rounds were both 5+ hours Due to 5 people being let out in a group.
