Reviews
L playing Fairfield Harbour
Great value for money course is always in great condition and always good greens
Nice course!
The course was nice and challenging with great greens.
Most greens and tee boxes were in good shape. Some fairways were not. Cart paths need a lot of work
Slow play
Course was in pretty good shape. We were behind 6 groups of members super ball groups all day. Took over 5 hours to play.
Harbor Pointe
Excellent course. Played from the gold tees (I'm 75) and had a great time. Greens in great shape, traps had been raked. Lots of water but clearly marked. Had a great time.
Better front than back
The wife and I played this course for the first time. We are visiting the area and wanted to play a few different courses. Man we really enjoyed the front 9. The fairways were very plush and the greens were great and rolled at a great speed. Then we went to the back 9. Around hole 12, the quality of the course changed drastically. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were rough.
Overall a challenging course with several tight shots to be made. We played a round the next day and decided to go back to another course we had already played over this course.
Also, the food at the course was nothing to speak good about. Don’t expect anything decent to eat after the round.
Great course layout
I have played quite a few courses on the lower east coast of the USA and this was an unexpected real gem. I feel the layout of the course was excellent with many different looking holes. The course was in great condition despite little rain recently. Only down side was the pace of play with me being stuck behind a local skins competition. At least it was a nice day with quite a lot of wildlife to look at.
Worth the drive!
Drove about an hour, from Atlantic Beach, to play Harbour Pointe. The course was in great condition - from the tee boxes to the greens and everything in between. The staff was friendly and the other golfers followed proper playing etiquette by allowing my faster group to play through. If I had to knit-pick, I found the greens to be slow; however, this is a matter of personal preference.
Best bang for the buck!
Spent 116$ for four people. Great deal, place is in great shape for January!
Friendly
Pro even came around course and spent 5 minutes talking to us.
Restaurant closed so a cart completely stocked with wine, beer, alcohol and food stopped by us at least 5 times.
What a treat. Incredible hospitality. Pro shop impeccable. I had to buy a hat. Pro friendly and courteous. Enough you get the picture. Besides all this a challenging golf course with skme spectacular views.
Great Staff
It was our first time ever playing at Harbor Point. The staff were fantastic and explained everything about the course. Overall, the course was in really good shape. The greens were a little slow.
Terrible.
Please don't book tee times when you have a tournament going on. Played 4 hours and took over an hour. 4 x2 golfers on 1 hole, and 3 x4 golfers on the next and 3 x4 golfers on the next. 32+ people backed up on 4 holes. ridiculous. My wife and I left after 4 holes. And the general manager wasn't the least bit concerned or offer to give me a raincheck. Wont be back for sure.
A good challenge
Some good challenging holes. The greens were great for putting on, most were fast. Tee boxes were a bit uneven on some holes.
Great course
Real nice course with friendly folks. Just one downside was the restaurant is closed M and T so there is no food to be had those days.
