The Club at Brookstone

My son lives in SC, I wanted to play and one of his friends recommended it. Was raining. Course was in great condition. Course was challenging.

Played the entire 18 holes, mostly in torrential rain, and still enjoyed myself. From the Trackman driving range to the well manicured putting and chipping areas, the course itself was in great shape for mid July.

There is some construction happening to what appears to be work on an expanded clubhouse.

The only knock regarding actual play would be on holes 1 and 10. Inches n these two holes, range balls can be found in and around the fairways. This is due to the close proximity of the driving range.

Overall, the course was in great shape. I will be returning soon.

Second day in a row, would safely recommend to anyone looking for a fun challenging course.

Course conditions were very good. Really nicely equipped driving range. Pace of play was awful resulting in a 5hr 15min round in high heat & humidity . Pace of play did not pick up despite call to clubhouse. Never once saw a "ranger" monitoring Pace of play.

Came out to Brooke stone last minute for a birthday round, and the customer service was top notch! Great course, better people, will be back for sure

This course challenges every part of you. Your body is tested through elevation changes. And your mind with how you will conquer this next hit. Great course. Would definitely play again.

Awesome course, alot of work going on to make it even better.

I played for first time about a month prior and was excited to go back out. I purchased a hot deal that was $10 off the normal rate of $70. I didn’t see any notification of aeration of greens but a buddy that joined us actually called the day prior to confirm before he got normal rate to join. They told him only minor construction on cart path which is ok but nothing about greens. I just feel a better discount should be provided and should be mentioned prior to booking. That was my only complaint on course because I feel they mislead us on purpose.

I love, love the scooters they offer. Mine had brake issues and you do not want brake issues with all of the elevation changes on this course. The staff had no problem in changing me to another scooter. I did not do my due diligence in calling ahead. The greens looked as if they were punched the week before and half of the fairways looked as if they were punched 15 minutes before I teed off. Other than that I always love playing this course and will be returning.

Everything was great but the greens, they had just been plugged. Did not know when the tee time was made.
