Great cheap course
You can not find a better value around Greenville. You are not getting a pristine country club type course, but I have never played a better course in this price tier. I've played Lakeview dozens of times over the past 10+ years. It is always in good to great condition. The course is fairly easy, but there are a couple interesting holes that require some creativity.
Also, this is one of the easier courses to walk in the Greenville area.
The only drawback to the course is that it can tend to get a bit backed up at times. Overall, I highly recommend.
Best greens around
It's been awhile. But.... Making a tee time for day after
Xmas. Great greens, affordable green fees. It's the greens that matter, not all the amenities that you pay for at other courses. If you want golf.... here is where you want to be.
From fairway to green this course is awesome. Most of the tee boxes we're in good shape too, but man could the ambiance use some work—cart path, hole signs, yardage markers, empty beer cans on left on the course, etc. But they layout was fine and considering the price, can't really complain. Good course for the beginner golfer who isn't too worried about scenery.
