Camarillo Springs Golf Course

I played Camarillo Springs last March. There is marked improvement since then even though 2 holes have temporary tee boxes. The greens are in great condition. The fairways show the most improvement and the ponds all have water. The driving range is very popular since the addition of swing electronics. It was full. I'm happy for the new owners to be enjoying a resurgence of play on their course.

The course is coming along.

The price is right for the course conditions.

We definitely see the improvement's and look forward to a finished product.

Nice Course For Say The Intermediate Player To Learn Shotmaking Shots .. Greens Are Nicely Kept Up For Accurate Putts .. Only Thing I’d Like To See Would Be Better Kept Up Tee Boxes

First time playing $26 hot deal at 1209 on a Friday POP 4 hours. Tee boxes not level, not good 2/10, fairways bare in spots, but you can find average lies 3/10, holes 12/13 terrible, but some holes were average. I was in one green side trap on 16 that had good sand, just needed to be turned 4/10. Greens were the best part, medium slow 6/10. Overall the layout is good 6/10 and the staff was 10/10. There were workers everywhere and everyone was friendly. We ran into a slow group on 14. The Marshall came by and asked us if the group ahead was slow, I said they were and he said something to them and we never saw them again. You can tell that they are trying to improve the course. This is a practice course and if you go into it knowing that and you pay $25-$35 with a cart I would recommend it.

The tee boxes were not flat and grass was long. The fairways were not in good shape. The “rough” was nonexistent and it was all dirt with lots of gopher holes. The only positive thing was the greens were decent.

The greens are fine, the fairways need all kinds of work. The back greens were better than the front, they were actually pretty decent. The greens are fairly easy. The rough is really nasty. But I got a good deal on GolfNow with a cart so it made it tolerable for some practice.

Good front 9, back 9 needs some TLC. Greens were in pretty good shape but the fairways from 12-16 were primarily dirt hardpan with patchy grass. Lots of water comes into play, so fairly challenging if you aren't hitting straight off the tee. Not a lot of sand and what there was hard packed so fairly easy outs. Overall, a fun track for an intermediate golfer with a 14 plus handicap. Probably a little too easy for anyone 10 and below.

Fairways are very rough. Madea alot of improvements over the last two years. Driving range is very good.

Played on Saturday, it was perfect weather and pace of play.

Badly maintained course Tee box is pathetic. At the least flatten out the area and keep it watered some of the tee boxes it is hard to push the tee into the ground
