Getting Much Better
Fairways mowed and in process mowing. Major brush cleared at many traps and ravine areas. A bunch of traps still under construction to flatten and add sand. Tee boxes mowed, greens fine, some needed small parts repaired. Mowing devris a problem many holes with tee shots that in the rough not far from fairway buried . Please clear that excess debris. Otherwise, course much improved over prior owners.
Relaxing
No one in a hurry, the group behind us stayed 2 tees back. I was fun
Fun layout and work in progress
Played it for the first time and it was a very fun layout. So much potential so hopefully the new ownership keeps it going. You can tell the course is going through a revamping but still playable. Greens were slow but not bad. Tee boxes were ok and fairways were not terrible they were playable. Once again this course is going through a revamping so in about a year or so I truly believe it will be a premier course in the area. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will play again🍻
Although they are doing a lot of work on course has a long way to go before good golf course. Rough not mowed, moles on greens and the GPS on carts make it so you can't get within 50 ft of greens.
Upgrades
The course is going through upgrades and looking better everyday
Tom
Doing a lot of work to the course but has a long way to go to compete with other courses in the area for that kind of money.
Making progress
Course has come a long way and prices are fair. Restaurant re-opened after being closed for many years. Great work by all the friendly staff so far
On the rise
I've played this track and it's been a fun every time. As someone who spent 10 years in the turf maintenance industry, I understand course conditions. I can say that this layout is on the rise. The bones are there, just needs a little more help. I'll keep coming g back.
Fair but re-doing?!
We’ve heard this course was just bought out and they are making several improvements…but they have a long way to go. We list our balls a lot due to tall grass in the ruff. A lot of trees were cut down and just sitting there. No frills in the clubhouse and it smelled musty. Might be nice eventually but not yet!
