Cobb's Glen Country Club
About
Cobb's Glen Country Club is named after its designer, George Cobb, a Georgia native who lived in Greenville most of his life. He designed many golf courses in the South, including the par-3 course at Augusta National. The golf course sprawls across rolling terrain blanketed with mature forests. Opened in 1976, the layout may be more traditional than modern golf courses but it still presents one of the area's most formidable challenges. The course has hosted a variety of events over the years including the U.S. Open Qualifier and the South Carolina Amateur Championship. There are 90 bunkers strategically placed throughout, and the greens are lightning fast. The 11th is one of the most memorable holes. This par 3 plays over water to a triple-tiered green that is flanked by three bunkers on the right, one for each tier.

Great course
Cobbs Glen has come a long way. Its now the nicest course in Anderson. Very well maintained. Greens roll true. And punish bad shot placement. You do not want a downhill putt!
Love this course!
Always treated very well here, course is in great shape. And just love the layout. One of my top 3 courses in the area for sure!!!
Hidden Gem
My first time playing this course, and I can honestly say that I have a new favorite. George Cobb was a legend with course design, and this course, is no exception. This course is an oldie, but a goody.
The fairways are like carpet, and the greens will make you pay if you miss your first putt.
Staff was super friendly and proud of the course they worked at.
Putting game better be on for this course
Good course & pretty good condition with fast/large undulating greens. Your putting game better be on point or you'll have lots of 3 putts.
Keep up the improvements
Its been a few months since I played here last. With the recent rain and improvements, it's filled in nicely. Considering there was a big tournament there last weekend, the course was surprisingly in fantastic condition. It was perfect because with the improvements there are growing pains but none that affected play. Also there were a few dark patches on the greens on a few holes but nothing drastic. Possibly the best course in Anderson.
Continues to improve every month
Kaden was extremely professional and welcoming at the club house. Fairways in excellent shape. Greens are very good and fast.
Rain delay
Had a rain delay. My tee time was 0736. The earliest tee time. I doubled up with another single. As we were waiting, several groups of members walked by us and started teeing off well before 0900. They were all walkers, and just filtered in from the surrounding houses. They never got close to the club house. When we said something, we were told they were members and didn’t have follow the rules and for us to mind our own business. We had slow play all morning.
Graduation
Great layout staff friendly and fair test of golf. For price highly recommend golf course
Great course
Pace of play is typically the only issue here. Course is one of the better ones in Anderson SC. Either way, love the course.
On the way UP!
Great time was had. Course played good. Greens were faster than expected so adjust early. But a lot of improvements said from staff and more coming.
Well worth the weekday prices!
Can’t wait to play this course again!
Love to play this local
Great local course that is experiencing a new growth spurt. The owners are committed to upgrading it the right way and those efforts are obvious. I play here whenever I can.
