Don't find yourself in here, on a par 3 on the back 9! Photo submitted by stratsville on 04/13/2013
Good for what it is
Today is 7/24/2026. I live in N Florida and don’t play down here often. Booked this course at 10pm last night for a 9am slot. Pulling into the parking lot I was getting vibes of a Bob Does Sports production, but walked away pleasantly surprised that we had a great time.
The greens were better than serviceable, and rolled actually pretty good! The rest of the course shows some age, but if you’re ok with playing the ball up, it’s no biggie. I’m a +2, and my son is an 8. We played in a little over 3 hours, had the place to ourselves.
I walked away thinking for $50/player, nice golf carts, and a water and ice machine at the turn plus good greens? Good value.
Apparently they are punching the greens soon so head out while they are rolling nice.
Horrible!!
This course felt like I was playing in 1948 Soviet Union. I was scared of German shepherds and land mines it felt like I was surrounded by abandoned buildings in Chernobyl, the guy upfront was totally cool. He definitely deserves a raise or a superhero badge. I came from Newark, New Jersey and some of the slums of Newark were nicer than discourse. Stay far away from save your money unless they’re paying you to play at maximum the most I would pay for this green fee is $15.
Early but late
Got to club house 20 minutes early and got rushed out and started my game off under pressure but after a few holes we were spaced out plenty .. think they may have over booked or was trying to get some unscheduled people squeezed in .. I can respect that … after all if you love golf you gotta play
The Oaks course
well, the course is not bad as was improved from a couple years ago. The greens are great the fairways some spots a little tough lots of trees away but overall was a good course. We had fun.
Bang for Your Buck, the Best
Loved the conditions of the course, partularly the greens, although fairways and tee boxes are great. I eill be coming back soon. The layout of the Oaks course is not that challenging, but still fun.
Greens have filled in nicely, rolling well
I played here a few weeks back and the greens were just punched and sanded. They have grown in very well and are rolling nicely. Fairways are spotty on some holes and there are still a ton of fire ants, so you have to move your ball at times to play it.
Nice Golf Course
The overall condition of the course was pretty good except that the greens were slow.
Decent track, greens are improving
Nice layout, greens were punched a few weeks back and are filling in nicely, so a 7 out of 10. Fairways are very spotty, so you need to roll your ball over and the fire ants are everywhere!! So, you have to move your ball quite a lot, to play your shot. It's terrible, they are everywhere. So, pay attention to where you stand, lay a club down on the ground, if you don't want to get bitten.
Course Conditions
Would have been if they let us know they had just punched the greens, we would have chosen another course. That being said the greens were not that bad, but definitely were not cut that morning and could have been much better. But, the layout is really good and staff is always nice.
