Devlin and VonHagge designed this course, which challenges even experienced golfers. It has been rated by Golf Digest to be among the 50 top courses in the United States. The signature hole on the Championship Course is #12, a 452-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot through a cypress forest to an island green.
This 7,258 yards, par 71 course has narrow fairways, a deep rough as well as plenty of water and bunkers. Enjoy the fast greens and the excitement of knowing you're on one of the best.

Greens in good shape, other areas not so much
Glad to see the greens were in good shape. The rest of the course is in below average condition
Chipping is a disaster
Found the greens to be in decent to good condition. Though, around the greens are a disaster. Mostly hard or very sandy. To the point I did not use wedges to chip onto the green and putted instead.
This course is a shambles.
Fairways are terrible; There’s no grass! Everything is brown and dying. Every lie was on the sandy sub-soil, which not only made it hard to hit the ball, but impossible to target a shot. If you hit near the green the ball rolled away because there wasn’t any grass to stop it.
It’s sad, I’m told this use to be a beautiful course, now it’s a mess.
I’m also told they spent a good deal of money on the clubhouse (it looks it), to bad they didn’t spend a few bucks on grass seed.

Great course to play
I invited a friend that never been there before and he really enjoyed it, like I did. Staff was very nice and course was challenging enough but not too hard for intermediate level players
Great golf
Challenging course only a few straight away tee shots creating fun play. The restaurant was great.
Truly a muni course. A little over priced for the current conditions. Lots of sand on all tee boxes.
Worth the deal
I’ve played this before and to be quite honest I’ve always been satisfied with the course. The conditions aren’t the greatest in reference to the fairways but the greens were very good and fast. Layout is awesome. If you can get this course on a deal it’s worth playing. Anything over $65
Isn’t worth it in my opinion. Friendly staff, I cant complain . I will never forget however my riding partners bushnell speaker not being turned in. We were done with 18 holes, brought our bags to the car and realized we didn’t have it. Walked back from the parking lot and they cart guys said they didn’t have it. Very disappointed
Depends on the price
Fairways are very hard and dry. Greens are patchy I got a hot deal on T-OFF so the price was reasonable for the quality of the course. If you have high expectations this might not be the course for you.
