Shingle Creek Golf Club
About
Shingle Creek Golf Club lies along historic Shingle Creek in Orlando - the headwaters to the Florida Everglades. This par-72 David Harmon-designed course is not only near the happenings of International Drive, it's also offers easy access from Orlando International Airport with what seems like its own exit off the Beeline (Toll Road 528) at Universal.
It has a lush terrain, significantly undulating fairways, interconnecting waterways, and magnificent panoramic views from their centralized 23,000 square foot clubhouse. Dense oaks and pines border the course

Shingle Creek's par-4 12th is one of the new holes, which Thad Layton and team knitted adeptly into the existing course. Big fan of this bunker cluster. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 10/27/2017

Great Experience
Played on an aeration rate. The greens had been punched a few weeks back and were mostly recovered. Otherwise, the course was in immaculate shape. It’s a resort layout, so although there are generous fairways and landing areas, there are several demanding tee shots. We played from the blue tees at ~6200 yards, and even at that yardage there were many tee shots requiring 150 or more yards of carry to reach the fairway. Greens were large and had lots of undulation, so approach shot accuracy comes in to play. Lots of shaved collection areas, and chipping off the dwarf Bermuda takes a little getting used to, so make sure to spend time in the chipping practice area. Overall it was a great experience and we will play it again.
Great course conditions
This track is always one of my favorites. The course was in pretty good shape overall. There are some points where they are in progress of repair but not really impeding play. The greens were fast enough even they are still coming back from being punched.
All great playing here!
Really nice course
Shingle creek was the nicest course we played while down here playing golf. Course is in really good shape and staff was super friendly.
Still one of my favourite courses in orlando
Well worth playing if your looking for a top class course at descent rates
Punched greens unfortunate
We paid full price ($100) for greens that still should have been discounted. We had 2-3 footers that wouldn’t even touch the hole. Very disappointing paying that much during the summer when the green are almost unputtable.
Dream
Beautiful course.. only greens where stamped.. putting was almost impossible. But this enjoyed it very much❤️
Great course
From beginning to end service was great
Course layout is forgiving off the tees with large elevated greens
Needed an extra club for the elevated greens
Played course after being aeranated but fairways and tee boxes fine
Overall a good golf experience
Definitely recommend
If you play munis and lowered semi private courses sometimes you need to treat yourself to a quality course. Shingle Creek meets that criteria, from the friendly staff to the carts with bucket seats this place is excellent. Loved the experience and will come back next time in Orlando.
Terribly Slow Play
This was a joke! We got to the second tee and there were three groups waiting to hit. The second tee. On top of that the greens were virtually impossible to putt because of recent punching. Overall a very bad experience.
Great course, great staff, greens aerated!
Hi, for the price after aeration this is a great value. Yes the greens have plugs and sand but the course is in good shape and it is a joy to play from the back tees! We were slow for a while and then it opened up around 8/9. Finished our round in 3.45 staff were very attentive.
Great Course
Loved this course. Excellent conditions. Nice greens. Will play it again.
Shingle Creek great again
Shingle Creek played very well and was in good shape overall. I know I give them a high rating and it is justified in every way. Be aware I played the course shortly after and during arification process. So the conditions were as expected during the arification process. Shingle Creek continues to be one of my favorites in the Orlando area. All should try to play if in this area. The layout is fair but can test all aspects of your game. So be ready for a fun challenge.
Aerated greens but excellent course
A pleasure to play here. Excellent layout and great mix of difficult holes. Despite the recent aeration, this golf course is always a great treat
Forgiving well conditioned golf course
Played the back nine twice because of course aeration. All the staff we encountered were top notch friendly. The greens were in excellent condition. I will definitely play this course again
