About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Amazing experience
This course is in wonderful condition. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The complementary range balls are just what is needed to warm up for the best round of your life. This course has just enough challenge to make it fun while not heartbreaking. I went with two youth golfers and they didn’t feel overwhelmed with the difficulty either. Can’t wait to get to play again!

Very firm greens. Nice turf. Good layout. Playing well. Dry condition.
Can’t beat Disney !
Everything and everyone was top notch just like anything Disney. The course was probably the best manicured I have ever seen. The pace was good and the ranger came around regularly to make sure it wasn’t too long. Would definitely play again.
A good test of Golf
Great course in good condition. The greens are pretty challenging!
Layout is just the right way
Challenging but fair you need to manage your place of shots enjoyed that aspect of the course
Happies place on Turf
Cart path only due to overnight storm and 45F degrees at tee off (11am!) so a bit chilly but still a great round of golf. Challenging. Despite the rain, the course was in great condition. Pace of play was impacted slightly by the cart path only rule - do people really not understand how to carry a couple of clubs out, hit and start walking up to the next guys shot while that person drives up a bit to start getting ready
Would play again but hope for a warmer day.
Pro shop like most is woefully underwhelming for women's options

The fairways were AWESOME!!! Everything was great. Pace was a bit slow. But we still had a blast.
Disney Palms
Staff was warm and friendly from the moment you get out of the car. Starter actually got our group to the tee early ahead of a big group.
The course is great, but it’s too long for seniors of average abilities. It also got jammed up late in the round by a double dogleg around water.
If it’s your only round in Orlando on vacation, choose an easier track. But if your skills are sharp, Palm is your course!
Palms
Course condition was great. I enjoy playing this course as it allows you to hit a variety of golf shots of the tee and into the greens. I found the greens recpetative, but on the slower side of tournament greens.
Beautiful course
Course was near perfect. Only issue was how different the practice putting green was (fast) from the actual greens (slower). That was the only “negative”. I would play this course every week if it wasn’t so expensive for a regular guy. It’s in my top 5 I’ve played.
Best course in central FL so far
Wow, memories were made today. From tees to greens, conditions were outstanding. Only downside was that it was cart path only, but hey, grass needs water to be that green. One of the best courses I’ve played in a long, long time. A country club course like experience for sure. Coming back to play Magnolia in a few days, can’t wait.
