Lumphanan Golf Club is a hidden gem set amid spectacular scenery on Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, offering Scottish village golf at its very best.
Established in 1924, Lumphanan thrived in its early years. It was disbanded in 1967 and reopened in 1994, before undergoing major improvements in 1999 and 2000.
The nine-hole golf course's par-3 and par-4 holes are a great test of accuracy, with narrow fairways, strategic bunkering and small, tiered greens. Lumphanan measures 3,718 yards for 18 holes with a par of 62.
