About
Bordered by the dominant Bennachie hills and Scotland's lavish scenery, Alford Golf Club runs an ongoing program for tree management, giving the golf course the luster of varied species of trees throughout the par-69 run.
Alford is challenging to golfers of all ages and ability without being too physically demanding. The club was originally designed in 1982 as a nine-hole course, but in 1992, nine more holes were added to make it a full 18 hole Scottish golf course.
Measuring to nearly 5,500 yards from the tips, the course may play short, but will require accuracy and solid course management to go low. Featuring low green fees and the service and maintenance one would expect from a golf course in this historic region, Alford has made its name in a short time and is a strong inclusion to any Scotland golf vacation package.

Alford
Nice course not to long pars and birdies available for the less capable golfer but not to easy either. Good good facilities everyone we spoke to was very friendly will definitely play again possibly even join.
Good for a game
First time playing, was good pace of play and condition of course was decent considering still just coming out of winter months.
Playing on summer greens but off mats on fairways.
Had wife with me who is novice and it’s Goodall round course for a beginner. Nothing too challenging but enjoyable for all.

The course was very good and the greens were in excellent condition.
Little Gem
I played Alford golf course for the first time on Sun 6th October, 2024. The fairways and greens were in great condition. The greens were very close to the best I have played this year and this is October!
The Club is obviously very well supported by the members - it was pretty full when we went in for a post round drink. The members and staff were very friendly and although we did not eat you could see the food coming out of the kitchen was excellent.
A short, but very enjoyable course which is very well maintained.
Thank you Alford golf course for a very enjoyable day.
We will definitely be back.
Really enjoyable course
The course was in great condition for this time of year, greens were in great condition and surprisingly quick considering the heavy rainfall. The course is very short with several driveable par 4’s but that definitely didn’t make the course less enjoyable. Only downside was the pro shop was shut.
Nice day out
Nice place to play golf staff always friendly and helpful makes it easy to deal with back nine was a bit backed up due to people with nights bit of patience needed towards the end of our round but that apart very enjoyable with a good selection of food on offer thank you Alford will be back to play again.
Alford is easy walk in nice Parkland Course
Lovely small course that was an easy walk and in very good condition. Layout varied from straight forward holes too some good doglegs. If in the area and not played do recommend is a good day out.

Course in good condition very friendly staff a really enjoyable day out
The course was looking excellent apart from a few wet patches, for the time of year really good plus the greens were in great condition hardly any pitchmarks

Was a great a bit of rain bit did not damped the spirit for golf . My man was a bit different as again I won the game again whoopi doo ha ha ha
