About
Swailend Golf Course is another Dave Thomas design, part of the excellent facilities at Newmachar Golf Club. The golf club, located on the outskirts of Aberdeen, Scotland, and near its international airport, has played host to European tour and international events.
While Swailend may not be as challenging as the Hawkshill Course, it provides a test all its own, with some well-positioned bunkering and testing greens. The golf course was built on rolling countryside, where some 26,000 trees have been planted to give added character to the layout.
