Excellent council course

For a council run course this place is excellent. It’s well maintained and the greens are fast and true. Highly recommend.

Good Price, But....

£16 on a Saturday hard to complain, the course was in good condition, staff where really nice & the regulars where also helpful

Just be aware that you get a good number of folk skipping on to holes through out the course and slowed down the pace of play and they did not intend to let us play through once

Best value for money course in glasgow area

Brilliant course,

Fairly flat, not too difficult. Currently winter greens as expected but still in good nick.

Very cheap as well,

Would recommend 100%

Poor drainage after rain.

Well maintained looking greens, each with their own characteristics, I will definitely return in spring once they come out of winter hibernation. The fairways are littered with bits of turf from folk not bothering to replace their divots but apart from that it seems a well maintained course by the GCC Greenkeepers. The drainage though is terrible and the entire course was either completely saturated or flooded, By far the wettest golf I have ever played. Not recommend if there was heavy showers the day before.

First Time playing the course

I was Skeptical with the price but wasn’t much of a gamble …

Would happily have paid more. I have paid a lot more for the same standard.

Course is very enjoyable the rate of play was a bit slow not surprising with the price staff very friendly and helpful will be a go to course for the future.

Tee Off Time Needs Worked on

I booked an 11am Tee time but the slot was triple booked. No option but to play the course with another golfer (who was friendly and at the same level as I am).

I booked a 1 golfer Tee time as I wanted to use the round as practice. This wasn’t possible.

Good condition

Course and greens are good. Lots of work has been carried out to improve this site and it shows.

Having played here for two years I notice a difference on the course.

Was approached and asked where the next tee was. It would be helpful to have more signage and clear numbered tees to help new players to the course.
